  1. That's an excellent idea. Should be a cracker for you.
  2. The U-21 Final is the Junior Final taking centre stage on the Saturday.
  3. It appears the Golden Helmet will have it's qualifiers on the Friday. The Junior Final on the Saturday and the conclusion of the GH on the Sunday. That's according to Speedway Star Travel Club.
  4. Please no. I don't particularly find the guy exciting
  5. Because other top riders don't see the British Leagues as their top priority.
  6. Must agree. Fingers crossed Sweden keeping going at the Euros. Some fine delights in the crowd for their fixture this evening. Gollob always does well around Copenhague but pants at Cardiff. Cardiff for some reason seems to have a whole planet of it's own - a massive leveller.
  7. It's a point I made if Haines or Roberts did any better in the British U-21 Final thus earning a place in the Under 21 Qualifiers. The expense would be massive, way too much for a Premier League reserve to shell out. I suspect that a number of riders seen the amount it would of cost them to pay for a mechanic to drive all the way and then possibly miss two paydays in the Premier League. Then add for the arrangement of themselves to make it via flight or with the mechanic.
  8. One encouragement was that it looks like Woffinden can mix it with the best of the international, junior scene.
  9. Fair point - completely forgot that 3rd and 4th gain a slice of the prize.
  10. For the record, he removed his bikes from the pits too early (supposly after heat 13, when the nominations were on, infact the coverage showed him receiving a telling-off in the pits during this period and his two points were deducted from Tarnow's tally.
  11. Loads if your don't mind flying from Stansted due to Ryanair's extensive polish flights.
  12. I understand that the semi at Pardubice takes place this Saturday. Is this true and what are the line-ups? We have GB, Czech Rep, Sweden and the Russians in this semi-final.
  13. This was recently asked and apparently, the answer is yes to as far as everyone knows. Kennett or any other wild card at the Super Prix's would turn up for one race. It's only fair IMO if they can afford the expense.
  14. Personally I disagree. Let's secure qualification to the main stages of SWC 2009 before jumping the gun and then experiment at Vojens. If the final next year is at Coventry, we need a favourable draw and ranking for an easier qualifier because I can see us struggling at a Semi-Final without home advantage and that would scupper any plan.
  15. Damn the Russkie's arent at Rye House.
  16. Against Rawicz at home. Rawicz are the whipping boys of the division.
  17. It was superb and two entertaining meetings (if just for the atmosphere) IMO. Zielona Gora were pathetic and I felt Tarnow were workmanlike but needed another Kolodziej. Pavlic, Vaculik and Zengota impressed today. Leszno were awesome as a unit - Balinski and Adams twice doing the honour for the team. I have always seen Pavlic has a gater but he blew that apart today. I bet their fans are in dreamland (and a few Bydgoszcz fans and others around Poland). The GPs will be a very interesting place in a few years time - if they ever exist in their current format. Falabuz caught with their pants down
  18. Appears he may not be 100% fit though ''Bjerre was practising normally, but he then complained about the pain in the leg. He got sedatives and will try to start the meeting''
  19. They better correct Andy Tully's nationality
  20. But surely the personal attacks are not for Bjerre...he didn't pick the wild card, he didn't beg, he was just given the wild card and given the medical go ahead. Olsen is the party he whose made this situation. Bjerre is fairly young, so it's nonsense to dismiss any rider and it's clear he's in the bubble of the 'second division' of GP riders. Far too much venom being spitted in the wrong direction
  21. Mr.BBB, can we change our team at free will or is there a period for which transfers take place? Edit: ignore me just read....Iversen injured
  22. Not sure of his age but he's Under-21, they have an emerging rider in Joszef Tabaka
  23. I understand that as well. The respective federation nominate a rider and two reserves which is rubber stamped by this committee.
  24. Normally Parken isn't kind to man and machinery but last year it was excellent whilst Cardiff was like a grasstrack (entertaining enough but incredible rough). Well pointed out on the size normally the temporary tracks don't cope with this speed and wonder what Kaparna would have made riding on that week in, week out if they were allowed as originally planned.
