  1. There is not a single bad seat in the whole stadium. I pay £27 on the day and I think its the best seat because you get to see the whole track plus you have the Poles and Swedes with you.
  2. We are doign Cardiff Bay this year aswell. Leaving at about 10am from Leicester, get to Cardiff at 1pm, buy tickets. Go Cardiff Bay for a few hours till about 4.30pm. Park back up in the city- you can do it, done it the last two years. Then get in stadium for 6 or just above soak up the atmosphere.
  3. Why so early we arent leaving till 10am and thats because we are going Cardiff Bay. Normally we leave at 12 or 1pm and we from Leicester.
  4. Hazzman's Thursday Weather Update The early promises of sun seem to slipping but it should remain dry. BBC Weather says 20c - Sunny Intervals - 4mph wind Met Office say 19c - Sunny Intervals - 5mph wind Weather.com says 20c - Sunny Intervals - 8mph Wind The UV Index remains high, so any skin, cream it up!!!
  5. Although advance ticket sales are up, it may only mean that less people we be buying on the day.
  6. He did do so well at Leicester

    Belle Vue

Ye but wont that be long track?
  8. Hazzman's Wednesday Forecast BBC Weather 19c - Sunny Intervals - 5mph Wind Weather.com 19c - Mostly Sunny - 7mph Wind Met Office 19c - Sunny - 5mph Wind The UV levels are high, so if you showing some skin gets some suncream on! Despite yesterdays reports suggesting a downturn in weather, it now seems the weather is going to be very good.
  9. Tuesday's Weather Forecast Update BBC Weather says 21C Sunny Intervals a 7mph wind Weather.com says 21c Scattered Showers But thats a 10-day forecast! Met Office says 21c Sunny Intervals aswell
  10. From reports I heard Bandit4eva, it could be an awesome sight come Saturday. For Men
  11. We all know the meeting will be on with the roof but I dont want to be wandering around Cardiff in rain. But previous yeras have be good! Its a scared day of sun just like the First Day of the Football season or the August Bank Holiday. The average forecast for Cardiff on the 11th June suggests max of 18c but lows of 9c. Im check two sites in the build up to Cardiff. Weather.co.uk who do a 10-day forecast suggest Sat will be Sunny with a max of 21c and a low of 10c. But clear at night of course, (you cant get sunny at night). 9mph wind plus a max humidity of 70%. However with it being a 10-day forecast the more unreliable the results are. BBC Weather only works on a 5 day-forecast But the pattern on that website is that temperatures will rise up to 23c on Thursday but go down on Friday to 21c. So make sure you check up everyday for Hazzman's weather forecast.
  12. I hope they not change its place on the calendar. I dont wanna be walking round Cardiff in rain!!!
  13. On Saturday, we have Italy V Hungary V Germany V Slovenia at Terenzano, Italy On Sunday, Latvia V USA V Russia V France at Daugavpils, Latvia I think both meetings will be tight expect France who will struggle. Any of our international forum members going?
  14. I took about 12 heats to get going but here is Hazzman's Krsko verdict. This track always helds great promise with its big, wide corners yet again a tracks advantages are poorly let down by Olsen. So, it wasnt until about Heat 14 when it lively up and by that time I put down my scorechart and made myself a cup of tea in hope the tea bag may welcome a racing storm upon the track. We eventually got the Krsko we know it can do and my excitement mainly came from Zagar and Nicholls. What else does Nicholls have to do? The draw was bad for him this yet he will learn from his mistakes(first two heats). His attitude is right and I think a Grand Prix win is a possibility soon. Zagar someone give him an Elite spot and the reaction of the Slovenian crowd when he was in the lead in the Semis. Now for the inconsisent performances from two riders, Sullivan and Gollob. Gollob looked good after a mid-meeting bike maker change. Sullivan likes this track and his bike just seemed to simply hook up. Two major disappointments, Jonsson and Richardson. Jonsson when I seen the WC Poole meeting and he done that superb mastertrick off the airfence. I thought he is possibly the next Swedish world champion after Trick. Yet he seems jaded and simply cant be bothered. Maybe the rise of Lindback as led to this downspiral in form. Richardson just simply cant cut it at this level. Chranowski shows more bottle. Richardson is always a maybe rider whereas Nicholls is I must rider. This GP although did bring me around to certain rider. Mr.Pedersen, I share a love and hate relationship with. His comic turn at gating pick was hilarious and he seems determined again. Crump didnt seem on the pace all night but just having that difference in class gains him a spot in the final. TRick well he is simply awesome and I loved his reaction when winning. The only probelm is I cant see another person willing to think I can win a GP tonight ahead of Crumpie and TRick. There are only two possible candidates who could possibly pull this out the bag and thats Nicholls and Pedersen. With Cardiff brings the manmade track, love em or hate em. They do provide the option of providing a great surroundings for the fans. The manmade track I think will shake the standings up a bit and various riders who are riding badly at the minute may haul themselves back into it. With Floppy Norris hoping to emulate Matej Zagar's effort. The 'Monaco of Speedway' is epicly poised.
  15. I thnk it will come up a bit more in attendance. However, the person who put that Cardiffs racing is not very good. I would put it down as the best GP last season.
  16. Try the University Grounds. Thats where we park. 15 minute walk into Cardiff
  17. I cant understand these people who want lower tier or middle tier tickets or on the bends. Top Tier is the place to be on the opposite side from the tapes. Why? Cheapest tickets More poles and swedes because of the cheap tickets Buy em on the day More seeing of the action More spacious concourses But very steep Plus youre free to move around after first few heats. Top Tier Cant Beat It!
  18. sportsnut, i suggest you contact Millieneum Stadium ticket office as long as your e-mail is non-aggressive, they are very helpful. I e-mail them about the tikcet opening hours on day and they kept updating me every two days. Gemini, we buy tickets in the top tier and one of our friends is scared of heights. So we walks around the stadium and sits lower tier, fourth bend.
  19. I dont know any thing about the track. So Im not going to predict without a description of Eskilstuna but with the track being an unknown quanitity for certain riders. Im predicting the Swedes too do very well.
  20. When do tickets go on sale? Its our first priority we wanna get em and then arrange transport and accomdation.
  21. I thought it was a great GP. Plenty of overtaking and good moves. However one criticism of the new format is the gulf between 16th place to the winner of final is too far. 13 points difference between 16 riders is fairly harsh but it does bring the best out of the riders.
  22. Yes It would be good but both leagues go on different rules.
  23. Could someone do like a weekly round of the scores and their opinions. That would be great!
