Good side but it's not how Matt builds his teams imo.

Peterborough Panthers 2022
BartoszZmarzlikFan replied to Flappy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
We'll walk the league again if that's the team. Fear sentiment will rule the day though leading to a weaker 1-7 -
Sweden's going bust. In a year from now they'll be worse off than British clubs. Some of the 2022 Swedish line-ups are woeful next season and it's a two team league as everyone else is putting together a 1-7 that wouldn't even with the league in Britain tbh.

Jason Crump? Could do a job at No.2 imo. 1. Max Fricke 2. Jason Crump 3. Chris Holder 4. Charles Wright 5. Brady Kurtz 6. Nick Blodorn 7. Tom Brennan -

Fair point tbh. Pete Adams didn't hide his frustration during the B league fixture against Peterborough on Eurosport regarding Nicol's performance that night. -
Team could be anything at this point then.

God help R. Hawkins if the track prep is slightly off or the weather is slightly off.
-
I agree. I think it's going to be Cook, Batchelor and Heeps completing the team personally. Working on the basis Batchelor is in the 1-7 as Phil The Ace would be spot on regarding any info linked to Belle Vue imo.
-
Average after 2.5% Brit Reductions One of these is right going with the rumours imo. 1. Doyle 8.96 2. 5.45 for Riss or Heeps 3. Cook 6.80 4. Batchelor 5.57 5. King 7.76 6. Starke 4.46 7. Rowe RS or 1. Doyle 8.96 2. Heeps 5.10 3. Cook 6.80 4. Riss 5.26 5. King 7.76 6. Starke 4.46 7. Rowe RS

Me neither. Has to be Cook, Batchelor and one of Heeps or Riss imo.

Could very well be. I'm starting to get a feeling Riss is heading our way. Phil The Ace is reliable when it comes to Belle Vue news and he's saying Batch to Ipswich now as they've offered more money. Then it would be one of Heeps or Riss and Heeps is a track specialist around Ipswich which kind of makes the decision easy. -

Pretty much tbh. All of the ITK's are saying it's the team and Wolves have only said Broc Nicol has been released. -
Cook, Buczkowski, Batchelor, Riss & Heeps are the rumoured names linked. Which HL and 2 second strings will complete the side.

Beowulf - Drew doesn't like technical tracks. Drew Kemp - “The Wolves track is somewhere that I like and that started when I had a handful of meetings riding for Cradley there in 2018.“I know it’s a completely different level, but I still won plenty of races around there and it’s somewhere I always turn up feeling pretty confident that I’m going to do well.“I had a couple of good scores there for Ipswich this year too and I’m really looking forward to that being my home track in the Premiership.” Oh and Drew rode for Eastbourne, Edinburgh & Ipswich last season which all happen to be technical tracks as well. Take the L, Call it a night and sleep off your diet coke hangover.

Your ears obviously don't work then. Trying using your eyes a bit more instead and read Drew's comments on the official Wolves site as it will help you out regarding Drew's feelings about the Monmore Green circuit. -

Drew Kemp's actual comments rather than Beowulf's drivel. “The Wolves track is somewhere that I like and that started when I had a handful of meetings riding for Cradley there in 2018.“I know it’s a completely different level, but I still won plenty of races around there and it’s somewhere I always turn up feeling pretty confident that I’m going to do well.“I had a couple of good scores there for Ipswich this year too and I’m really looking forward to that being my home track in the Premiership.” -

They released him apparently. Bit of a rash decision imo as it was only his first season in the top flight. -

Wolves giving up on Nicol after one season is baffling. Practically threw away any chance of a league title in 2021 by building a team way under the limit to fit Nicol in for no reason now. -

Comments from the talk-in @ the Cleveland Arms tonight:- Drew Kemp is the new signing to ride along side Leon Flint at reserve. Ipswich told him it might be best to “have a season away” Wolverhampton is not his favourite track, does not like tight technical tracks! Broc Nicol has been released. Jacob Thorsell is not an option due to the availability and cost of flights, they are not at pre-covid levels. The full team is decided, may be released end of December, beginning of January. Tai Woffinden – Peter Adams will again be helping him next year to try and regain the World Title. Expects the GP schedule to be similar to this year. Ryan Douglas currently self-isolating in a hotel in Australia for 2 weeks. Lots of friction between the Premiership and Championship clubs. Alan Grahame – Peter Adams shared his memories. Grahame was always late arriving at meetings. His funeral was scheduled for 9:00 am. Hearse arrived at 9:20. One of the main reasons for the supporters trust is distant fans. CVS constantly surprised at online orders for merchandise, recently sent stuff to New Zealand and Australia. This will be a way for these fans to support/help the club whilst not being able to attend meetings. The speedway office needs replacing, the supporters club will be able to help with the cost. Programme – will continue to use the current printers. The Wolves programme retains the “old size” whilst everyone else uses the larger size. I prefer the traditional size. Musielak, or any other Polish rider, not an option due to the influence exerted by Polish clubs. Number 8 – currently talking to a 17 old. Expect him to be No 1 for the junior side. Number 8 – no restrictions to their use, use them whenever you wish. Due to restrictions with access the track staff arrive at the stadium at 6:00 on Sunday and Monday. Highlight for CVS, new toilets in the upstairs bar. This is a major step forward. The people who leave after heat 14 are really annoying with their red brake lights causing a problem for the riders. Another 5 minutes wouldn’t hurt would it? 2 tracks were considered for additions to the PL. CVS hopeful that in a year or two, the PL could have 8/9 tracks. Peter Adams – in years to come Rory Schlein will be recognised as one of the best ever Wolves captains. -

They just put Peterborough down due to the age of the riders. For me Wolves are basically going with two rising stars and it's very risky considering other teams will line-up with a strong experienced reserve along with a better 1-5 imo. Gambling on the 1-5 overachieving to make the play-offs imo. Other than Becker it's difficult to see an average improver.
