  1. You keep telling yourself that. Great Britain Vs Poland (Glasgow) 20/10/2021 | Speedway Updates (proboards.com)
  2. The top flight is still a decent standard now. Mostly filled with current and former GP riders or riders who've represent their country at World level. We're better than the Swedish league that's unbalanced with half of the clubs financially broke. Flaky Poles get exposed when they're asked to use actual skills in our Country, It's easy to ride Polish tracks like Leszno for example that's all about set up rather than skill.
  3. Yep Poole wanted Basso and the 1-7 was going to be the following. King, Lawson, B. Cook, Basso, Z. Cook & Kemp + a third HL Basso deal didn't happen which lead to the top heavy 1-7 with a long tail containing Steve, King & Lawson.
  4. Not even those three. Us Brits have seen how riders like Kasprzak & Walasek perform in our country. Woeful is an understatement.
  5. Think it's down to finances tbh. Got to work within a budget.
  6. I wouldn't fancy Grudziadz or Ostrow to win at any of those tracks personally.
  7. Never going to get a title winning 1-7 as Scunny cant compete with the likes of Leicester, Poole & Glasgow. I think Rob has built a decent side to win at Home and get into the Play-Offs, Cant complain too much when you've got three HL track specialists as well as a British hotshot on the up and Kennedy at reserve imo.
  8. Scunthorpe are much stronger next year than this year. Douglas & Allen in for Ellis & Jorgy is a big improvement because Ellis wasn't even committed. Kennedy is a better rider than MacDonald so that's another improvement imo. Newcastle's team isn't good at all imo. Congreve has no UK experience, BWD is not a No.1 and he's been off the bike for a while so might be rusty. Newcastle have also lost Connor Mountain which is a big blow.
  9. They wouldn't tbf. Half of those Poles are throttle jockeys who couldn't ride a technical track for toffee.
  10. Good signing in Tero. Fans don't travel in numbers away from Home these days. All about Home form to keep the fans happy and if you're strong at Home then the fans will keep returning every week. Tero averages over 9 at Home so it's a no brainer. Should nick a play-off place as well if your Home form is good. Scunny should pick up a couple of wins on the road at Newcastle and Birmingham as well.
  11. Connor Mountain is the secret weapon in the side. He rode most of the season at 3 & 5 for Newcastle, Connor will be a second string for Leicester so he's capable of scoring big and upping his average by a point imo. Leicester & Glasgow both look very good sides to me.
  12. 2 to go just around 9.00 points left. 1. Scott Nicholls 2. Jack Thomas 3. Sam Jensen 4. Kyle Newman 5. Troy Batchelor 6. Cameron Heeps 7. Jack Smith
  13. Statement throwing him under the bus the other day.
  14. Won't go that far because Matt's not silly tbh. He'll take what he can get to pay the rent with because of the following reasons rather than holding out for a high sum that nobody will pay. The Ford Family know full well they've got an asset heading for Poland & Sweden within two years meaning no loan fees will be coming in for Ben Basso from British clubs due to Polish restrictions / rules. They also know Ben will never ride for Poole again therefore they've got an asset who'll be worthless to the club within two years who'll they'll make no money off. With the rent situation and the chateau Matt will be wise enough to realise some money is better than nothing.
  15. Glasgow will pay whatever they want and Matt will have no choice but to accept it due to him burning bridges with Basso.] Ben will never ride for Poole again after the way he's been treated by the owners.
  16. Flint's been named as the rising star for Wolves in the press release. Kemp hasn't been brought in as a rising star thus meaning he's the main reserve filling the same role as R. Worrall, S. Nielsen, Basso and Starke in 2022.
  17. I think he's fallen behind a few tbh. Leon Flint, Jordan Palin & Anders Rowe are better than him as well imo.
  18. Riding as the main reserve for Wolves & Poole next season. I see next season as the telling point personally.
  19. Hasn't lived up to the hype yet. 2022 is a make or break season for him.
  20. Steve will be back at Poole now that Basso signed elsewhere. Panic over for you lol.
  21. Oxford are getting it right. Great top 2 with a couple of very experienced second strings on very low averages. Room for another big hitter as you've got just over 14 points left.
  22. Could be Zane if he ticks both boxes. His Twitter bio does say he's available for 2022 with a UK flag next to it though.
  23. It's Kyle Newman guys. Former Queensland U-21 State Champ and he's a Spurs fan.
