Leicester Lions 2022 Line up

Don't really understand the logic behind the 1-7 being built by Leicester in all honesty. Reading the press release with Dickson noting that Dan struggled in the 1-5 last season yet the club signs him to ride in the 1-5 again next season is baffling to me. Should've built a team that had Dan riding at 6 rather than 2 imo. Extra pressure on Connor Mountain to do a job at No.4 and the HL trio have to fire on all cylinders week in week out. -

Risky team being built by Wolves. Wooden spoon me thinks. -

Allen would do nicely but he's off elsewhere. -

Buzz has been on the decline like Kildemand. Having given this much thought I think Ostergaard is the move to make now unless Cook is available (Backtracking I know) Reason why - It's a 6 team league again featuring 4 away trips to a couple of technical tracks that Buczkowski won't be able to ride. -

Agree but you've got to take the budget into consideration here. Ostergaard would be much cheaper than Buczkowski even though the latter is the right move to make. -

What do you think? Personally I'm not sure whether Riss will be at Ipswich as track specialist Cameron Heeps is 5.10. 1. Jason Doyle 8.96 2. Erik Riss 5.08 / Cameron Heeps 5.10 3. Craig Cook 6.80 4. Troy Batchelor 5.57 5. Danny King 7.76 6. Paul Starke 4.46 7. Anders Rowe (RS) 0.37 / 0.35

Scunthorpe Scorpions 2022
BartoszZmarzlikFan replied to IronScorpion's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Yeah. I still stick by that but my info is old and Skidder has said the 1-7 has changed on multiple occasions since then so I wouldn't be shocked if Steve was moved on or whether he's in the 1-7. -

Skidder keeps liking posts regarding Douglas/Poole and he's got a few ITK's so I would put my money on Poole going with King, Lawson & Douglas as the three HL's. -
Buzz rumours have to be false imo. Not only is the team way under the limit but it's also rubbish and it includes a baffling signing in Buczkowski who won't be able to ride the track. Imo this is the Ipswich team 1. Jason Doyle 2. Cameron Heeps 3. Craig Cook 4. Erik Riss 5. Danny King 6. Paul Starke 7. Anders Rowe (RS)

You'd know the line-up Skidder with your ITK's at Poole.

All I want for Christmas..........is Buczkowski's return. If you don't fancy Crump at No.6 then Ben Barker also fits and he was on fire the last time he rode for us. -
They're still sticking with Lawson to Poole Hans Andersen z kontraktem na przyszłoroczny sezon! (speedwaynews.pl)

Doesn't fit does it?

BartoszZmarzlikFan replied to Flappy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
We won't be signing him anyway because Ostergaard will return. Ostergaard is going to be much cheaper than Buczkowski, Crump, Cook etc. plus he's a rider that has a strong bond with the fan base so a deal would tick a few boxes for Buster and the rider. -

I think you've hit the nail on the head tbh. I think Glasgow may have signed him for commercial reasons tbh.

Flappy is just messing with you lol. Us Panthers fans have a lot of respect for Ulrich but we all know deep down he won't be able to get near his starting GSA so we're hoping somebody is going to take him on loan for a year and then give him back in 2023 on a 5.5 or something around that figure.

If only we sign Buczkowski instead of Ostergaard we could get Crump at reserve. Has an identical look about the 1-7 from the title winning side this year imo. 1. Michael Palm Toft 2. Krzysztof Buczkowski 3. Chris Harris 4. Scott Nicholls 5. Hans Andersen 6. Jason Crump 7. Jordan Palin -
