  1. Don't think the money nor effort nor ability to do this, but just my thought. They will also want qualifying close to the final night. Think smaller city track or tracks during the week or at best the weekend prior.
  2. Happy with this, prefer Poland as a european destination visit from Australia to Denmark or Sweden. The semi's and race-off could anywhere as they don't need the capacity. Wroclaw final was sold out, but the other 3 races maybe 10-15% full. Maybe Lublin?
  3. Location and date should be soon surely, 2023 announcement October 2021, so overdue on previous timeline.
  4. Wroclaw is great, ease of stay (can AirBNB a short walk from the track), nice city and (if you hire a car) lots of attractions within an hour or two drive.
  5. Any thoughts or tid bits on likely 2026 SWC location. Thinking NSS in Manchester would be favourite? Doesn't hold huge number of fans though? TBH, happy if it was Wroclaw again, that was an awesome week.
  6. I attended Wroclaw SWC for my 50th and it was awesome. Plan is SWC is held every 3 years, so next location and date, at least based on SWC 2023 initial announcement, would be second half of next year? Wherever it is I will be attending again.
  7. SWC planned to be every 3rd year if I'm not mistaken, so 2026 next SWC?
  8. WOW WOW WOW. Could not have scripted this better. Poland needed to finish in front of UK on the final Race 20 to take SWC, and you should have heard the DEAFENING ROAR by the local crown when Maciej passed Lambert at the end of the race. And of course as a bonus I cheered for Max Fricke's Race 20 win on top of it. Awesome event, so happy I came here for it. Rain held off whole event, only started a minute after SWC Trophy presentation.
  9. A) This Forum is populated by quite a number of miserable whinging Poms. B Like the idea of Final being 1st SF winner, 2nd SF winner, and top two of Race-Off including home nation (have to work out how to seed countries though). C Better live here than watching on the TV with as stated crap coverage. Reasonable crowd here tonight, close to sellout tomorrow for final (260 of the expensive seats and 276 standing tickets left on bilety.wts.pl). Got my very nice start line tickets and can't wait. D Crappy competitive racing tonight agreed, but Aussies into the Final strongly, take that any day. We'd have to be a tenth of a chance to win if we are racing as well tomorrow night? E Track is starting to wear in well, not sure what some forum members still bagging the track for.
  10. Only 100 feet away from me in the air, security wouldn’t let me bring in the Kel Tec 12 gauge I shot this afternoon though. Heap of fun though.
  11. Agree on above. Always going to be emptyish SF's. 2 or 3 events enough for me. If we win tomorrow night might or might not attend Race Off for a bit. If we lose, yes, I will. Whole thing is about the final. The fact that Poland auto qualify straight to the final was always a mistake. Really interesting in FIM keep same format for 2026, and where they hold it. Poland could easily host it again, but who else has stadiums that do the final justice? Cardiff? Australia?
  12. Can hear the racing from my AirBNB. Chose to stay near the track as opposed to Wrocław city Centre.
  13. Many of you guys here right now? I’ll be there tomorrow night to see if Aussie crew can beat the Danes, then sitting start line again for Friday and Saturday nights. Visited Stalag Luft 3 today, basis for the move The Great Escape.
