  1. Full marks to Lublin, it's very rare that you see the team that comes second smiling and enjoying themselves at the presentation. Superb TV presentation in all the meetings today , it makes our TV companies speedway presentation look quite amateurish, although BT aren't too bad with the GPs, would much rather have Polish commentators though on BT and Eurosport
  2. RIP Bob, very saddened and shocked at the news. A big loss to the forum. Thoughts are with Bob's family and friends.
  3. Very sad news indeed, remember well from the fifties and sixties how Harry always got stuck in, just the sort of opponent you didn't need riding against your team. Rest well Harry you kept us on our toes. Thoughts are with Harrys family and friends.
  4. You weren't far wrong there, shame that Leon dropped it on the last bend. Maybe you should stay sober more often
  5. And Leon scored 8 last night for Wolves at Kings Lynn including two heat wins. He really is developing and progressing impressively on all types of tracks.
  6. Superb work by SCS, this whole profiteering planning charade from Brandon Estates quite frankly makes me effing angry. The stadium was my second home from the age of eleven right to my mid twenties when I eventually moved back to Northumberland for work. Fifteen years gone if BE win and destroy my step on the back straight. Loads of pocket money and wages went into that stadium. The whole stadium is still in a prime position to be a real motor sport centre again . Would be good to see a few more glory years for the Bees. We can only hope. Good luck guys and thank you for your hard work. It really is appreciated.
  7. Most of the discussion will be about mother nature and how climate change is affecting speedway. The usual Saturday chatter. I think it must be Col's fault.
  8. Adam has made valuable steady progress over the last two or three years and whilst the GPs would be a baptism of fire, all GP riders have to start somewhere. Maybe next year might be a year too soon , but I believe he has the talent to expand his already considerable European experience and develop further. Obviously sponsorship and making the correct calls mechanically are vital.
  9. Great ten points from four for Leon at Ipswich tonight for the Wolves in the Premier League.
  10. With luck Jon will read this and give us an update. Best of luck to Adam if he rides, love to see him breakthrough and give some of the more fancied riders a real shock . Be brilliant to qualify as a bonus to add to his British title.
  11. I know it's a bit rich quoting my own post, but well done Adam superb all night. I just had a gut feeling it could be your night after watching you a few times this season. Keep the progress going, onwards and upwards. Bet Johnny is chuffed to bits as well.
  12. I think it's time that Adam Ellis came through and took the championship. Be chuffed for him.
  13. No need to be patronising Bob, that's Steve's job. With all the experience in the Poole set up, you'd have thought that someone would have twigged that Havvy was continuously derided by Coventry supporters for his poor team management and utilisation of riders. Looks like you might miss the worst of the weather today good luck. Tell Steve he needs to man up if he can't cope with the weather
  14. Leon Flint is on six points after three rides in Latvia. All three British lads are doing well.
  15. If you're going to have a look at a few sights on the way down to Newcastle on Sunday have a look at Bamburgh, but these days on a Sunday you'll need to be there by 11 for parking, though there are now two overflow carparks one each side of the village. Or watch the kite surfers at Beadnell Bay, and of course you've got Alnwick, Craster, and other villages on the coast. Avoid Seahouses though as its a mad house on a Sunday if the weather is good.
  16. Hope you went to the Priory on Lindisfarne as well to say a few prayers for this evening, I think you'll need divine intervention.
  17. weather forecast changing constantly, for real time weather try netweather.tv, good luck.
