Trouble is with Marquez these days he is another big accident waiting to happen. It's amazing he doesn't get more penalties for the amount of problems he causes on the track. The sooner he retires the safer it will be for the other riders. His head is just too big these days. For me I would love to see Acosta progress next season, he's got the talent but I agree Bagnia and grudgindly Marquex, are most likely to take the title..

Seems like the original thread has disappeared, well at least it doesn’t come up on my screen. It’s the final race day of the year in Barcelona and it looks like a welcome back to Natalie, she’s been missed as was Sylvain this season. when it comes to the big race it seems inevitable that Martin will take the title from Bagnia unless he crashes out. It seems all he’ll have to do is sit back and let the others go for the race win. But I expect he’ll still want to take the race win as well. i just hope crasher Marquez doesn’t destroy anybody’s chances today
  3. It certainly does, however just commenting on the difference of normal regs and a certain event and how enjoyable it was this weekend. Just a bit of deviation. 😀
  4. There was some cracking racing to day at Pardubice and a six man six lap Final. I thought and hoped Ryan Douglas would win but he seemed to tire a bit after four laps and Rasmus Jensen came storming through to take the helmet. Some very close races made it an entertaining meeting to watch.
  5. Apologies if I'm repeating a thread posted elsewhere. Just been caught up on the shooting of young Jay Cartmell who died after being shot in a field in Cumbria ten days ago. Very sad story of an apparently shocking accident. He is reported to be an ardent supporter of Workington and was a regular at the track on race nights along with his Dad. Absolutely shocking for the whole community. All my thoughts are with Jay's Mum & Dad and all his family and friends. They must be devastated at losing him at only eight years old. Hope you can still hang around the pits up above Jay on race days. Rest in Peace young man
  6. It will be interesting to see how William Cairns goes tomorrow. I assume most if not all are older than him. Good luck to all the lads riding tomorrow. I expect it'll be fairly close between Boughen, Kileen and Luke Harrison.
  7. Wol;bert made me uncomfortable too ! 🤢
  8. Give it a rest you're getting very boring now. Mind that Laguta is certainly an up and coming rider. 😃
  9. Looked like Krawczyk had probably opened up the injuries again . A fit Krawczyk would have picked up a few more points. Sad for the lad.
  10. The best man won, congratulations to Zmarzlik and to Robert Lambert for surviving a great season and taking second place. Brilliant entertainment from Dan especially after his dodgy exclusion and a well deserved bronze medal. I can't understand that especially when GPs are run on Polish tracks why don't they leave the grading and watering to the local track specialist. They never seem to have a problem with track preparation for league racing etc.
  11. Is Parnirskyi still only sixteen. Even if he's seventeen now, he's still outstanding for his age, With luck he'll make the podium. Looks like a fight between Wiktor and Pollestad for P1 & P2 Just looked him up he's seventeen now soon to be eighteen. How time flies eh 😁.
  12. I don't think it was a case of the poles over riding, it was a case of Banbor losing control and taking out Krawczyk who was racing on the normal Krawczyk line. Its sad because he is a real racer and I was hoping he might make the podium tonight. Certainly diminishes Wroclaws chances.
  13. Nat seems to have disappeared for a while. Last I saw of her she was working for BT Sports on MotoGP with Suzi but since TNT Discovery took over I haven’t seen her. But Nat was excellent just like Suzi Perry has been for all the years she’s spent in MotoGP, they both seem to have a deep interest in the sport, like Suzi both seem relaxed and at ease with the job, unlike Abi. And I wouldn’t be surprised if Nat is a bit of a biker just like Suzi .
  14. Well done the Aussies, but I'm gutted for Bydgoszcz, surprisingly I thought Sorensen was their weak link today
  15. Fabulous match, who'd have thought that would be the score ! Lambert, Emil and Patrick superb, and the guy whose name I can never pronounce weighed in with his fair share , and some fantastic passing moves. Thats what speedway should be like everyday 😀 The second leg will be tight despite a 12 point lead, am looking forward to it already.
  16. Real speedway on a real speedway track, superb meeting with close score throughout., take a big bow Mr Kowalski !!
  17. Fantastic news, another stepping stone towards a return at Brandon. After sixty odd years I hope my spot on the back straight is still there
  18. Just a thought ! What if Bartosz decided that he really wants to transition gender wise ? As there is a separate female competition would he then be able to double his trophies and monies by competing in both?
  19. At 17 I reckon that Parnickyi the Ukrainian lad riding in the top league in the World is outstanding, had some good battles with Emil, looks very much an SGP rider of the future unless something derails his progress. Rode well last week as well in the SGP2. Very entertaining meeting.
  20. To be honest I turn the volume down when Sam is commentating, and provide my own commentary. At least I can understand it then.
