Ran out of steam. Ran out of stream. -

Not sure if there’s been more crashes on the stream or the track. -

That would require coordination, not something Brits are known for. My response was more about the general setup across the different racetracks to be honest. There would be practical considerations to sharing a feed, but not insurmountable if planned and both sides thought it was in their interests. -

I don’t know. If they are sensible, they will use a 4G load balancer that can connect to multiple operators. Would be dangerous to rely on host stadium WiFi for a product you charge for. You always want these things in your own control. -

15 heats, with one/two commentators who can identify the correct riders is all we need. There's nice stuff on top of it, but the 60 laps is pretty fundamental! -

Yeah, I just cancelled my subscription. I didn't pay for the Pairs, but I saw even with that, there's two heats missing from Monday night. I want to support them, but there's a minimum baseline they're just not meeting. -

I was OK with this the first couple of meetings, but this should be sorted by now. I also wish they just made the subscription via YouTube - no option to Chromecast from iOS, which is very frustrating. -
Berwick v Glasgow CL 28/5/22 @7pm

You can pay for your chips with a card, so why can’t you buy a ticket with your card/phone at the turnstiles? I don’t get that. There’s nowhere else I go where I need cash. -

The issue isn’t the riding order/combination. It’s the riders they’re paired opposite. 3, 4 and 5 were all one place higher than usual, as Sedgmen at 2 replaced Brennan at 5, so three riders essentially all went up a place, so it was tougher for them. But that’s what was available tonight, and that’s how it goes. -

Would be a lot better if the rule was changed so it’s only a problem if you touch the tapes. -

And yes, the referee let quite a lot of movement go today. Didn’t pull anything back. Maybe he had somewhere to be? -

I’d say a draw was a fair result tonight. Both guests contributed well. Not sure why anyone would be saying no one gave Poole a chance - complete nonsense. Poole may have been marginally helped by having Ruml, but it was a mixed bag, with 9 heat wins from four riders and two riders providing nothing. Sedgemen replaced Brennan’s points well for the Tigers but as others have said, the shuffling of the order did hurt the other riders. That said, I do think it was probably the right decision to do that. Great to see Broc on much better form, particularly his first two rides. Ullrich really pulled it out of the bag in heat 13, very unexpectedly. He might be missing a bit of speed but he delivered under some decent pressure in that heat. All in, good meeting, good points for both teams. -

Tactical substitutes are allowed between heats five and fourteen inclusive, with the exception of heat eight. -

Started raining a bit more now. It’s be a shame if it was called off. Was looking forward to seeing the previous Championship winners tonight. -

Not in Possilpark, but Drumchapel hasn’t had much so far. A little damp, but not more. Forecast is compressing the rain to 6-7 at the moment. -

Still concerned about the forecast for later. Rain expected in the afternoon into early evening. But no sign of a call off - Twitter pics show the track looking decent. Could go either way later. -

Rain is forecast, but generally light. About 0.6mm per hour. It’s generally been good this week, but when it has rained, it’s been furious. No pictures from the track work so hard to know how good the track is. The garden soil is generally in good condition though so maybe that’s a good sign! -
I can’t say it has ever bothered me really. We all know riders get injured, so guests are fundamental to the sport. I don’t mind if Chris Harris turns up with the visitors at Ashfield every week really. I do think once a guest is announced, they should only be replaced if injured/sick. And I do think if a rider isn’t coming back, they should be formally replaced with a permanent replacement. Apart from that, I don’t really see too many issues. There are already rules about how often you can guest for a team, or at a track, aren’t there?

Listening to Sam interviewing the managers before heat 15, it’s hard to believe he’s a former speedway rider at all. He didn’t seem to understand what was going on at all.

Glasgow Vs Plymouth 6th may 7.30
Noelinho replied to Jaizer's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
It's all relative. Still some good passing last night. Bomber did Craig on the inside and the outside, so clearly he could make both ways work. I was stood at the entry to the third bend and to could definitely tell some made the outside work, and others couldn't, more so than normal. We're lucky we get nights where it seems there's passing in every heat, which I think just means we notice it all the more when there's a little less than we normally see. -

Was it just me who thought Harris did nothing wrong in heat 13? Looked a clean move on Cookie and Starke for my end of the back straight.
