  1. Sedgmen deserved at least one heat win. He was very good. In fact, all the Brummies were good outside of reserve. Cool and Wells were both decent value, but Sedgmen was unlucky to get done on the last turn twice by Basso. He didn’t really do much wrong. Basso was just out of this world. In heat 15 I think he just decided it was win it or bin it over the fence.
  2. Heat 9 was fantastic. Heat 12 was interesting because when Basso swapped to the inside, everyone followed him. Heat 15, he just refused to be beaten. That gap was tiny. I was on the entrance to turn three as usual and honestly, I can't find the words to describe up how good that was.
  3. I'd be delighted if he was our #1 at the start of next year. The guy's fearless and he's got that little bit of magic you just can't teach.
  4. Glasgow leading comfortably despite a number of bike problems... And the wonder wheel tractor has broken down. Good action on track though.
  5. I'd be inclined to drop Broc. But it'll be one of Broc or Connor.
  6. In fairness, one was in heat 21 and then heat 22. Would’ve been a bold move to pull him out of heat 22 and put Flint in having not had a ride to that point. If they’d done that and Leon had finished last we’d be crucifying the team management for being so silly. You really have to commit to either giving an early ride or not at all, I think.
  7. To be fair, he said that after the heat 1 crash, when 2 Edinburgh riders had withdrawn. His complaint wasn’t that we’d lost, because they hadn’t even completed a race yet.
  8. Surely once it gets to the playoffs, all teams will only agree to dates their riders are available?
  9. I’ve decided not to go. I like the competition, but two riders out from the team means it’s not appealing to me, especially as I can watch those two on the TV for free. Suspect I’ll give Berwick a miss on Saturday too, on account of the SON final. And Sunday is out too as I’ll be at the Touring Cars at Knockhill! Bad scheduling all round.
  10. I quite like that song, it makes it a bit like AFL. The only trouble is the stadium speakers seem to break every time they play it! Maybe the DJ doesn't like it and does it on purpose.
  11. Track was fine. No idea why they kept falling off to be honest. The only one who went down near someone else was Knudsen in heat 14. The others were completely solo crashes (apart from Ricky Wells going into the back of Pijper when he came off, of course, but that was collateral).
  12. Knudsen's fine. Scored a point in the re-run. It looked probably the nastiest crash of the night, yet he got up the fastest.
  13. Knudsen just tried to run between Basso and the boards. Ref excludes Basso. No one understands that decision. Doesn't matter for points, but total crackpot decision.
  14. Since it's called the Jubilee thingy, maybe we need a points Jubilee and the points should be based on heat 15 only?
  15. I actually thought Knudsen's been decent. Not a lot of points but shown some speed.
  16. Flint's down on his own now. Not sure why the Bandits are all falling between 1 and 2, but it's a magnet for them tonight. Sam Jensen would be impressed.
  17. Looks like it's been white for longer than that! Surprised no ref has taken exception to it to be honest.
  18. Knudsen gave up on riding well before the red light came on.
