  1. Not sure you should fear the home leg. If Sam and Josh do their thing you're over halfway there. Lasse's looked better and better when I've seen him.
  2. Hard to see past Dan at the moment, but very happy to see Cookie showing well.
  3. Hadn’t seen that. The Tigers’ website hasn’t been updated yet. But it does make sense that BSN can’t show meetings at the same time.
  4. I actually quite like Kelvin’s commentary during the races, but he struggles between the races. He’s not a natural filler. I know we have Kiri today, but I’m always amazed they don’t use Abi more when she’s presenting. She’s a fantastic filler and I feel like she’s under-utilised. Kelvin’s great, but pushing the conversation isn’t really his natural habitat.
  5. I'd quite like to avoid the first leg this Friday, purely to go along and see the Leicester/Edinburgh semi-final at Armadale.
  6. Yeah, difficult to see Glasgow winning the tie. Cook will be back - he’s racing at BV tomorrow. Hume unlikely from what others have said. Ulle might be back, but he’ll probably be more useful at Poole than at home, based on his form this year. You have to think Connor will be race rusty too.
  7. I don’t want to spoil the party, but isn’t Zmarzlik only guaranteed a 19 point lead at this point? Edit: I thought he started with an 18 point lead. My bad.
  8. There was no contact - Josh said that himself. He was mightily pumped up for the heat and I think it was just the adrenaline. He felt he wasn't left enough room, I think it was OK and he just got a bit too much grip. The exclusion of Lasse in heat 11 was completely wrong though. Edinburgh have been pretty good. Sam and Josh both riding as well as you'd expect, great contributions from Lasse and Kye as well.
  9. Absolutely phenomenal heat 4 there. I knew Pickering was either going to win or put it in the fence…
  10. You said your Sky box is incorrect. Eurosport don’t control that. It is correct on the Eurosport app, and in other services that provide listings. It’s up to Sky to refresh the programme listings for your Sky box.
  11. Yes, great if you’re a club reasonably close to Sheffield, less so if you’re not. Hence why as a Leicester fan, you don’t see a problem with it, but the Glasgow/Poole fans aren’t so keen.
  12. Not in my experience. One reason the new stadium was so promising.
  13. According to Eurosport, it’s 3pm - 6pm, Eurosport 2.
  14. I did have a laugh when Hayley said Armadale is in the north of Scotland!
  15. Me too. Put bikes on the track and I'll happily turn up to watch them. As others have said, the real problem is clubs having control over fixtures. If you give them control, they will manipulate it - why wouldn't you, if it helps you? Take control away from the clubs. Tell them who they're racing, and when. Let them deal with the consequences. They'll find riders if they have to.
  16. I fancy that too, but I suspect it'll be in the final. I think Leicester will send them up north and I we'll find it too tough. Too many injured riders, and Connor Bailey's not got anyone else to race for. That said, I'd like a semi-final against Edinburgh, so we have two matches to go to.
  17. Out of interest - working on the assumption Poole won't blow a 30-point lead in the second leg, who would Poole fans rather face in the semi-finals, and why?
  18. Looking forward to expecting Poole at Ashfield sometime around Christmas. Should be a good match. Definitely the team to beat in my eyes, given the heat leaders, but always interesting given how strong the Glasgow reserves are, especially at home. Although in all honesty, not a lot between the top three in the league. Redcar and Edinburgh both capable of spring a surprise as well.
  19. A few decent passes tonight. Mostly from Aaron Summers. He’s been good value.
  20. Depends. Edinburgh potentially not being around next year doesn’t help, but there’s still Berwick not too far away. Northside would make is better as well. For the Premiership to be worthwhile for Glasgow, we’d need more teams further north, IMO, but definitely more teams. Five opponents and a league of six is embarrassing. Especially when two of those teams have been hopeless all year. We see quality racing in the Championship, and a variety of teams, and to me that’s the most important consideration. We don’t need to replicate the SFL with half a dozen games between Montrose and Raith Rovers every year. It gets old.
