  1. Honestly, it just means having some fixtures on a different night, which we all manage when it's in our interests.
  2. Who's the second rider bringing third home for Glasgow?
  3. I'd take Claus over Leon all day long.
  4. It hasn't though, to be honest. He might look a little better, but scoring has been pretty consistent. Removing his heat 15 rides, he's scored 8,9,6,4,8,8,5.
  5. I can only comment on his Glasgow form last year, but he increased his average early and then held on to that average until the end of the season. The issue was that we didn’t see the step we expected him to take, but he’s done that this year. He’s gating better, riding tracks better… he’s riding like he’s not under pressure. My personal opinion is that his biggest issue last year was we made him captain and piled too much pressure on him. I also think subconsciously, being in a team with Basso (they share the same birthday) may have contributed, and it possibly didn’t help that Ben’s style made him so adored. You’d never expect a rider to say any of this lest it be seen as a sign of weakness, but I honestly think those things contributed to us not seeing his full potential last year. But I wouldn’t say he faded - it was more a gap between expectation and realisation, which he’s honestly sent a bulldozer through this season.
  6. Claus is out on Friday for personal reasons (hence no facility), and this was known to the promotion when he signed.
  7. Brennan’s gating has been exceptional this year. Probably the best gater Ive seen this season.
  8. Not sure Poole is top of Anders' list.
  9. I agree with this. The rulebook doesn’t say semi final for BSN Series doesn’t count, and since they’ve made it that far, they should be able to claim them.
  10. Away win, all day long. Ah, it’s an evening meeting, isn’t it?
  11. Whilst Starke was terribly disappointing for us, it’s the right change to make if you want to make the playoffs.
  12. Ah, yes, I did the maths too early in the morning and confused myself. Hard to see who could fit there. Personally, I’d love to see Glasgow sign Rowe with Worrall out.
  13. I think there's a reason he didn't get back to them. Certainly, his surprise at not being included in the Glasgow team for this year in his tweet at the end of the season wasn't real. It was a shame he left the club how he did. If he'd just said "I'd rather ride somewhere else next year", every reasonable person would have understood.
  14. He looked tidy last night. He didn't use those lines last year!
  15. Nothing wrong with the Lawson exclusion. Ben Cook's was a mystery. But it was Dave Watters. He's making it his calling card.
  16. I do wonder if we might be tempted to sign Rowe as a replacement for Worrall. Not sure what guests we can line up to replace him while he's still out, and unsure if he will be able to return after the 28 days.
  17. James Pearson has really improved over the season. Fantastic to see.
  18. I don't think either Glasgow or Workington are Oxford's rivals. We're just not that good, Comets undone by Tate's injury, I think.
  19. I would too, although Ivacic wasn't very impressive last week. I think we will struggle.
  20. I don't think that's the case. I think they have decided they want the stadium as full as possible, and as good businessmen, they will know very well how much money was in the streaming. They have very clearly decided it wasn't worth it.
  21. Mainly because I was referring to Tate's replacement. Personally, I feel Workington shouldn't replace Celina, but if they were to, yes, he could make sense.
