They are announcing the whole team at once this year. That's one of the reasons nothing has been said yet.

SGB Championship 2025 - Confirmed Signings

But I read only yesterday that Boughen was going to Glasgow 😄 -
Vinnie Foord - is he too dangerous?
Noelinho replied to BackInTheDHSS's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I would compare him to the other riders around him in the averages, and yes, I think he is good value against them, albeit a risk. If he can reign in the riding a little, he will continue to improve his average and pick up more points just by crashing less. The risk is he crashes and hurts himself. I'd say he's worth the risk. Speedway is inherently a risky sport. -

I'm not a Poole fan but I think people are being a bit over the top. Vinnie's not the only young rider who crashes, there's a few others I can think that have had quite a few of them too! -
A very sad loss. I grew up about 500 metres from Rye House - forever grateful for the work he out in bringing the team back at the turn of the century. If only we could do the same today!

Yeah, but it's a blow up air fence and not a polyfoam, so meetings might last longer than we're used to 😄 -
It's risky to trust anything a teenager tells his girlfriend!

Berwick ‘buy a brick’ Bandits 2025

I can only speak for me, but I'd pay for it. -
I don't think he likes it there. He was certainly showing interest in signing for Glasgow.
-
Yes, Claus at 3 would definitely help. Bomber + Leon + Claus + Foord + Hodder would leave pretty much bang on 10 points left, which feels workable.
-
It's possible it could be Leon, I guess. Depends how they want to spread the points. It would give us a stronger middle and reserves, but would be a risk to make him the #5.
-
What's a fixture?
-
Sam averaged 1.64, Celina averaged 2.45, so you were down 1.91 before Starke came along. He averaged 4.15 for you.
-
Glasgow reserves -2.29 🫣

Then get rid of them, so the rest of us have a sport to watch. If we cave in to the lowest common denominator, we're all done anyway.

Good luck with that. -
Eurosport, terrible professionalism.

People moaned their arses off about Marcelina when she presented SGP coverage for the world feed too. Dinosaurs die out but it seems new species crop up. -

Natalie Quirk. She’s a Belle Vue fan. -
U21/youth events don't have great attendance, but I think that would only partially apply to NDL. People prefer to support a team, generally. NDL provides that, albeit the level would put some off.
-
Yes, he's not the answer. His current average is fair and not much chance of pushing it up. It would be better to sign a younger rider with more prospect of improving.
-
I think they were considering an NDL team for 2024 late last year, but decided against. There were a few factors: it would require more volunteers, more track staff time, probably another team manager as it would be a lot for Cami to do that as well - he does have a life outside of speedway! Also, they were pretty pissed with the way the end of the NJL season was handled. No idea how much the extra cost of running a team in NDL factored in, but the practical side of things was definitely part of it.
-
They don't like his away average. They seem to ignore that he's barely ridden those tracks, is still only 19, and has shown fantastic week-by-week improvements at Ashfield. The away improvements would come naturally, but I keep hearing this line about the away average from too many people, so either someone is playing a weird bluff, or they're not interested in having him back. Sad if they're not willing to invest a second year in the one guy who has shown real potential. I hope he makes them regret it if that's the case, because he was first on my list. He's not the complete package yet, but he's working it out pretty fast.

I don't disagree.

Suspect Leon, almost certainly not JP though 😑

Higher, actually.! Basso 10.34 Tarasenko 11.25
