And when was this rule change made ‘ official ‘ ?
-
And as no one knows the rules for visas post Brexit this is total speculation. Riss has already stated he’d like to be back at Kings Lynn and Redcar so no story there either.
-
What Redcar do is up to them, they have already announced the same 1-7 so , unless the rules change to suit the ones who cant have the same 7, why change? Just because Newcastle have parted with two riders already, one by their choice, doesn’t mean others should be penalised by changing the speedway rules. Now visas are whole different ball game.

King's Lynn Stars 2020
Ringitsneck replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
You obviously haven’t been to Warsaw, Torun or seen the improvements at Bydgoszcz or Gdańsk or a few others for that matter . Polish fans are very knowledgable and very keen to talk to British fans, if you make the effort. Travel broadens the mind. if you think Kings Lynn is good, you need to get around more. -
Surely a precedence was set when God almighty Godfrey refused Workingtons move to a Friday night track as just too any tracks wanting Fridays. Nothings changed other than it’s a fellow committee member asking so..... we all know how this works!

Whilst not believing 90% of what our club megaphone ‘THJ’ says our club, Newcastle, will be making at least two changes as one I was due to sponsor has just informed me the club no longer want his services, so something is going on in the background...and no THJ, it isn’t the one already announced.

Garrity was a drug user from a troubled background, doesn’t excuse his behaviour and justice has been done but he WAS a talented speedway rider and was regularly targeted by testers at meetingS having been regularly ‘ randomly selected ‘ ( by opposition promoters) and he passed every time. There have been a number of riders who were informed of the testers presence and were promptly ‘ injured ‘ or broke down en route, I recall a certain Sheffield rider doing a u turn in a club car park having been told of their presence and the excuse given for his absence was given as ‘ he fell down the stairs at home ‘. Didn’t wash with the fans who saw him in his sponsored van hastily exiting the stadium car park. Not the only one over the last few seasons.

So are we saying the ‘ previous Promotions ‘ never paid their bills, so ‘ Gentleman George ‘ was NOT such a gentleman ?
-
Fair point on spelling, but your post is still just a waste of space, try and think of something useful or informative rather than just childish drivel, there’s too much of that already on this site.

Are you thought bored that you are now entering into the realms of total speculation and make believe?

I can’t think of ANY club that would have “ no costs “ , even if the whole set up was privately owned ( Scunthorpe, Somerset , Leicester ? ) there are the normal bills, electric, water, maintenance ( although much reduced ). -

I’m not stopping them. -
Isn't that the promoter / chairman and he doesn’t need a megaphone. interesting that the same man gave Anlas tyres to selected juniors who attended the youth round at Edinburgh who were then banned from using them by the local machine examiners and ref as they aren’t covered by the current rules in this country but then the U-19’s were allowed to use them at his track. Usual duel standards.

Certainly won’t add anything to an enjoyable experience but then I’m guessing those who are attending , to watch a mixed field of NL riders and invited guests , are so desperate to watch anything that their willing to pay over the odds to sit in silence , in isolation, and watch Jason Crump , and a few others ,beating the kids he’s been tutoring for the last few months. Their choice but doesn’t float my boat. -

Would you risk your life for money that barely covers your expenses to get to work ? Check facts before making idiotic statements. All BSPA events pay peanuts which is why there’s always discontent for those events from riders, most riders lose money if they don’t finish in the top half dozen or win a 4TT or Pairs event. -

Stand by for a ‘ shock entrant ‘ for the Australasian British, but not all the top ones ,final ( rumours at Scunthorpe today from the top , if you get my drift ) -

At a recent local charity non league football match they allowed a crowd of 300 in to watch. Within 10 days 28 of them tested positive for Covid and the number is rising by the day , all traced back to one small football crowd. The town has now been put on the government watch list as the rate per 100 people has exceeded the government target rate. You attend if you want too. -

So those riders who spent thousands on their equipment during the winter and then went out and sought regular employment to pay there bills are now to be dropped from the sport because they decided to miss a hastily arranged meeting ? You honestly expect the sport to not sign Craig Cook, Charles Wright etc in 2021 because they miss a one- off meeting? Get a grip. -

Then that would be unfair on those riders who decide to miss the meeting , quite understandably , for employment reasons etc. and that is not normally the way it’s done anyway. -

I want to know the line up before forking out £20 for a ticket and a fiver for a programme. Ive gotta hunch some of the better lads have declined this one off meaningless event. -

Which shouldn’t come into it as it’s a ‘ trial event ‘ and when was the last time a British Final got that sort of crowd? We have a National stadium and don’t use it for our biggest domestic meeting ? Crazy! The BSPA committee sharing out the meetings amongst themselves? -

As you write so much I assumed you had all the answers. I spoke to two riders parents over the weekend who confirmed their ownership of a 500 engine but I’m sure you know who has what in their garages? Age isn’t an issue when it comes to practising on a 500. Quite a few youngsters have had one season on a 250 then concentrated on a 500 well before they were of legal age to race one, some have done it from the 125 bikes. The current 250 boys are very good but as I previously said, there isn’t enough of them in the country to make them compulsory in NDL teams.
