Peterborough Panthers 2020
TheMessiahOfTheBSF replied to bigcatdiary's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The moaners are overreacting imo. Being angry is understandable but turning your back on the club over parking is a complete overreaction. That's totally fine. What I cant get my head around is people saying that's it I'm not going ever again all because the parking has changed. Being angry is understandable but turning your back on the club because of parking is ridiculous imo. -

Back the club otherwise we go under. Simple as that. -
LMAO at the sorry state of some Ipswich fans. Wanting riders to get sacked before the season has begun.

If anyone has a disability then why don't a family member drop them off as close to the stadium as possible before driving off and looking for somewhere to park. That way the person with the disability wont have to walk as far. -

How miserable has this thread become. People moaning left, right and centre. Hurry up Buster and announce Iversen. -

Hopefully Buster announces a signing earlier next week so all the moaning can stop on this thread. NKI must have made his decision by now after the fixture list was released. -
Vaclav Milik?

Who's the 7th man then? Cant be Chris Holder with that description. Are Ipswich going to build a 1-7 like Wolves or have they managed to get a new rider in on a 7+

It's crystal clear. Nothing to do with money....NKI wants to ride for Peterborough in 2020 but he has to work out his schedule and wait for the Peterborough fixture list before committing which means the club cant sign or announce riders until NKI's decision. We've got to be patient. It's looking more and more likely NKI will ride for Peterborough in 2020 and he's more than likely working with Buster behind the scenes to get a fixture list that will suit both parties. If NKI didn't want to do Britain and he didn't want to ride for Peterborough in 2020 then he would have said NO by now. -

Yep. Nobody can be signed until the management have been given a final decision by NKI. Panthers fans need to be patient instead of worrying. Buster and co aren't struggling to build a team they just have to wait for NKI. Buster is working with NKI and they are more than likelt waiting for the finalised fixture list before a final decision is given by NKI. -

Yes he wanted to ride for a club that has a technical track. They didn't want him so now he's on standby for us and we will only take him if we don't get what we want. Scotty has shot himself in the foot if NKI puts pen to paper. -

I don't have any inside info. Just obvious what's happening behind the scenes. With all the info that's been leaked and the rumoured riders. I think we will end up with a 1-7 containing Nicholls tbh and I'm all for that. Scotty will be very very very useful lol when we visit tracks like Foxhall & Monmore. NKI is unlikely tbh. Yes Peterborough is on his door step but fans need to realise that NKI still has to catch flights to Britain and back so he's still going to be travelling a lot more than he usually does. I would be delighted and shocked if NKI lined up for us in 2020. I think we will go with Tungate, Bech & Nicholls which would still be a very good side imo. -

Nicholls gets a reduction which is why he fits into option B -

Here is the clear and obvious plan. Tungate announced very soon then it's a possible long wait. Nicholls, Bech & Ostergaard are the riders on standby but none of them can put pen to paper until the management knows where we stand. Management waiting on a go ahead from NKI....If NKI gives us the green light then Buster can get the Ostergaard deal done. Management hoping for a U-Turn from KK......If NKI cant do Britain and KK changes his mind then Buster can get the Nicholls deal done. Management forced into (Tungate, Nicholls & Bech)…..If neither of the above happens (NKI & KK) then Buster can get the Nicholls & Bech deals done. One signing impacts another so after Tungate's imminent announcement don't panic because we have riders on standby and deals will be done sharpish. Option A (Managements choice) - NKI, Tungate & Ostergaard - No point making teams with a different 1-7. Ostergaard is the No.7 if NKI signs. Option B (Back up to plan A) - KK, Tungate & Nicholls Option C (Default plan) - Tungate, Bech & Nicholls None of Bech, Nicholls or Ostergaard can be signed until the management have been given a final decision by NKI & KK. -
1. Doyle (Swindon) 2. Andersen (Peterborough) 3. Grajczonek (Sheffield) 4. Bewley (Belle Vue) 5. Cook (King's Lynn) 6. Covatti (Ipswich) 7. Nicol (Wolves)
-
Stewart, Perks & Rowe is the weakest tail end in the league. Shocked to see so many people putting Swindon 1st. If Ellis or Jensen has a bad night then Swindon are stuffed on that night. Robins needs the top four to being on it every week. 35+ points every week they need from those 4.
-
Sheffield & Belle Vue way over hyped. Solid 1-7's are very underestimated. If NKI signs for Panthers 1. Peterborough 2. Wolves 3. Swindon 4. Ipswich 5. Sheffield 6. Belle Vue 7. King's Lynn If NKI doesn't sign for Panthers 1. Wolves 2. Swindon 3. Peterborough 4. Ipswich 5. Sheffield 6. Belle Vue 7. King's Lynn

I would rather have Bech & Nicholls instead of Masters at No.1. -
I would as a No.3 or No.5.

Seems to be a lot of discussion regarding NKI over the last couple of months. Will he do Britain or wont he. Will he join Ipswich or join Peterborough if he does rider in the UK. Now it's will NKI sign for Peterborough or not do Britain. -
