So what about the CLRC that was raced on a Sunday, Masters, Basso, Pickering & S Worrall all were pulled out by their Polish clubs/ fixture list and that was a BSPL EVENT.

It’s amazing how people can “hide” mental problems and make them appear normal, probably not the right word , Craig Cook has been to Redcar twice in August and done terrible compared to how he usuall goes. Obviously something is wrong when he gets on the track, but if you go onto Redcar Bears YouTube account and watch Boxballen1, it gives a totally different outlook to the person.

Jack Holders was the 4TT Final at Peterborough. Think Ged Rathbonr at the time allegedly took a £20k payment to release Jack from the fours to ride in Poland. Also who is missing for Glasgow & why?

It doesn’t say, but can only be Basso or Harris. It was put on TikTok and one of my boys showed me it.

All fans please be aware that the A66 east bound is closed at Cannon Park heading towards Middlesbrough Centre at the weekend. I presume diversions will be in place. Also Middlesbrough Mela festival is taking place in the town centre this weekend. And finally don’t forget that the Great North Run is taking place in Newcastle on Sunday for anybody coming that way.

You would think after last nights “ non negative” tests last night that the SCB,ACU,BSPL would arrange for a mandatory drug test at all meetings in the near future. All riders programmed to ride to be tested, and any who “ break down, have a bad back” etc on the same day must do a test at the earliest opportunity. This has got to be rooted out sooner rather than later. Maybe when licences are applied for next year a mandatory drug test to be taken before licence is issued. Just a thought

Said on the radio today that it cost approx 1/2 billion pounds to build the Commonwealth Games Village but it wasn’t finished in time so the athletes had to be put up elsewhere. Don’t know if true but shocking if it is.

And not to forget the financial impact racing on off days could have to clubs. Let’s see who is top first and who finishes sixth. -
Weather Play Offs top and bottom
Biffa replied to HGould's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Looks like the weather is going to play ball this week and hopefully everyone can fulfil their fixtures. I hope that the mini groups are sorted quickly and fixtures put out early. Looks like some flexibility will be needed as so far 2xWednesday tracks & 3xFriday tracks, 4 if it’s Edinburgh are in the play offs. Headache for someone to sort out. -
So it’s pairs night tomorrow night & as far as I know, no one has pulled out “yet”. What does anyone think the reason for this is, against all the pull out in the CLRC at Redcar. I don’t believe for 1 minute it was the venue, I presume the pay/travel rates will be the same. I know Poland accounted for a few but could it be that it was a Bank Holiday Sunday and riders had league meetings on the Monday, didn’t fancy the travel North or what does anyone think?

It was an individual meeting, not a team meeting, Everyman for himself surely. Danny didn’t seem to concerned when congratulating Charles after the race. For what it’s worth I thought Charles should have been excluded.

Poole Pirates Vs Redcar Bears 16/8
Biffa replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Heard the other night at Redcar that no one apart from officials are now allowed in the centre green, no supporters, sponsors etc. All since the Edinburgh crash. Don’t know if it’s right but Redcar didn’t last Friday. -

Plymouth Vs Berwick 8/8/23 live BSN
Biffa replied to Cast1rn's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
So where are the BSPL track advisors, or assessors, whatever you call them. Surely if this is a regular occurrence they should be involved. -
Charles Wright was 9. Bomber was 13 as far as I can remember

Did anyone jot down the riding order for the CLRC at Redcar. Never thought when they were doing the live draw to write it down, and currently there is no replay to get the draw from. Thanks in advance for any help

Edinburgh Vs Poole 4th August

Don’t forget that sometimes Scottish Law and English Law are different. Police closed the meeting for further investigation according to Greg Blair. -

Just a quick observation/ query regarding Ace Pijper(and I presume Dad knows best). Was/is Ace the only rider on a GTR engine? If so is this helping or hindering Ace? Obviously the answer is it is not hindering him as he is doing well for a first season, but would a GM make his improvement better. Also how can Ace beat several heat leaders and riders above if the GTR is not as good as the GM. I know I’m sort of answering my own little queries by going round in circles. Has anyone got any observations on this, and we’re the BSPA/L right about the GTR engine after all. Just wondering

So we have a certificate, a SCB statement and a pre printed programme by a promoter with a high ranking position. Surely the one to chase here is the promoter with a pre printed programme. Answers need to come from that source even if it means dragging other parties into the mix. The SCB should call that promoter forward for an explanation as well. But, in the best interests of the sport …….
