My mistake, sorry. Got to learn to read properly Lol

Is Tony Mole there on Speedway Business? Thought he’d given up all ties with Speedway. Obviously doesn’t mean he can’t be there as a friend. Just wondering.
-
Is anyone due a Testimonial meeting in 2024? I know it would have to be approved at the AGM but I was curious if anyone was due one.
-
And don’t forget that CVS has had a hand in doing this before at Redcar. Very basic to start with but perseverance and patience will bring improvements.
-
Whatever happens, you can guarantee Poole will have replacements ready to go & wont be weak either.
-
That was the rumour doing the rounds at Redcar when Scunthorpe were there for the KOC. “ Rumour “ being the key word.
-
I know we are all speculating about signings etc but the most depressing thing in my mind is going to be the actual strength of the league. Basically it is going to be similar to our play off team this year with a No1, 2 lesser “heat leaders” and second string/Reserves similar to this year. Only thing is everyone is in the same boat.

Poole v Scunthorpe. KO Cup Final 2nd leg. 18/10/23
Biffa replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Considering Redcar had their KOC tie finished before Scunthorpe did, 30th May to be exact, who has been waiting for who? I would suggest 2 Friday tracks, one with a No1 who rides in Poland being the problems. -
Well that’s it folks! Season over. Silver Helmet cancelled & not to be re staged. See what next year brings
-
As a supporter watching him he does seem to be inconsistent when the team is under pressure. Pretty much always gets a tapes warning most meetings as well. Maybe Lee Complin taking him from behind, under pressure,in the Play Offs put paid to his Oxford job. Who knows.
-
Obviously a lot of speculation over a new club for 2024 but if they can’t confirm at the upcoming AGM that they are running will they be allowed to join before the season starts? If promoters know and are sworn to secrecy will this affect the team averages for 2024?

I thought Workington were Saturday afternoon for league matches ?

Thank you, didn’t even know Martin had a sister, but then again why should I
-
Ah, ok. Didn’t know he was his uncle, thank you. I knew Martin Hagon was his dad.
-
Is Sam Hagon related to Martin Dugard? Watched a BSN interview and thought straight away he looked a young Martin double.
-
Won’t be Erik then. Seasons over with a damaged shoulder/rotator cuff? Injury. Best Wishes Erik an injury you could do without

Ten days to go to the “Silver Helmet” meeting at Redcar, has anyone got any information on the line up? The way the riders came and mingled with the crowd after the KOC defeat to Scunthorpe gave a sense that not all would be there in my opinion. Hopefully get some riders filtering through soon.

Redcar v Scunthorpe KO Cup Semi Final (2nd Leg) 06/10/23
Biffa replied to stumper's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
In my opinion we have not had a good track since the last meeting before the CLRC. This is not knocking the track staff or the club, it is the weather we have had leading up to the meetings or on the day. We have used covers, graded dirt off, put dirt on etc and the track has not been its usual self. Off the top of my head: CLRC- rain before hand Glasgow- rained off after 12 Oxford- rained before start Glasgow-rained most of week before Scunthorpe- poured down Thursday Not looking to make an excuse for preparation, just had a bad throw of the dice weather wise. -
Both Flint & Etheridge appear to need a “round” track in my opinion, eg Belle Vue, Peterborough, Redcar etc. Leon been on long straight tracks for a while now & Jye seems to ride a “bowl” well.

Leon Flint Guests again -
Dickson !

Rumour I’ve heard is 36 for 6 with a No 7 of 2points/ under 21/24/ British rider. Who knows. Take your pick on a No7 option
-
I think we might be down a little bit on average allowed, but would expect the champ to go similar to the Prem in 6 riders + a rising star/2 point rider/under 21 type of team build. Also going to depend on how many teams in each league.
