How many meetings have Workington got left before the 75% rule applies ? As a Redcar fan we have just been caught like this, so you might have to move very quickly to cover Tate.

I’m sure Berwick ran a junior meeting after the Redcar match this year, or was it 2023? Would have to check the programme when I get home.

I think Rew only had a visa for 1 league so couldn’t ride championship at the time, haven’t got a clue how the Visa’s work but think that was the reason.

Just to put another person forward for home track advantage then, Tom Brennan. Rode for Belle Vue long enough to know the track, then what about Steve Worrall, Charles Wright, Connor Mountain etc, all former/ current riders that have had Belle Vue as the home track in the last couple of years. Home track knowledge goes from the bottom to top of that British Final line up.

Wasn’t there a drug test needed on the run up to the end of the ban as well? Or several drug tests?

The only part that doesn’t sit right with me( struggling to get my head around it) is how you can have a guest for something that hasn’t happened yet. Covatti hasn’t failed to turn up tonight, yet, but a guest is allowed. I know he’s probably said he’s not coming, doesn’t intend to ride etc but how can a facility be allowed for something that hasn’t happened. That’s speedway I suppose, for the good of the sport etc

If you look on Taz Mcdougal photography website you can see the sequence of photos for Jason’s crash at Berwick on Saturday. Very lucky to walk away and more amazingly take 3 more rides and win 2 of them.

Would like to think so, hope so, but no one has confirmed anyone yet.

Unfortunately we have one of them teams this year that you don’t know what’s going to happen. Wouldn’t surprise me if we went and won at Berwick tonight( like Workington last week), but also wouldn’t be surprised if Berwick hit high 50’s. We are just so unpredictable at the moment.

Anyone know when the tickets go on sale for the final? Also the start time and when the line up is announced ? TIA. Only a month to go that’s all.

I think Danny is 7.87 from 1st of May.

Believe it or not but Danny King will be very close to 7.79 on 1st May. Not sure what the figure is but has dropped for Redcar

while I don’t agree with what Jason has done, and sort of have the done the time bit pulling me both ways, I still wouldn’t really want him to be back in speedway. Some promoter will eventually sign him and give him a spot out of desperation/loyalty from previous etc and this will become my dilemma. When he visits my track do I go or not. I think not at the moment. Currently have the intention of writing/messaging our promotion explaining why I won’t be there and pointing out that they are losing money by letting said rider ride. Hopefully if a few people did this it might hit home to the promoters that this rider is costing their business money.

I think Redcar may need to shuffle the reserves around to get better results for the team, tough on Ben I know , but needs must. Also agree with Redtruck that Jason & Jonas need to swap places. Jason & Danny have spent more time racing each other rather than the opposition so far in both matches.

Well we will find out in 13 days if this was a freak result or not. Workington return in the KOC on the 26th April.
