  1. Good for Edinburgh if Josh is coming back. Sure Sam was in the top 5 average riders in the premiership last season. For there to be gaps between the leagues should riders who rank this high be racing in the lower league?
  2. I would say he didn't do the best of jobs (I would say he was stitched up by the previous owners as well). Would probably have been given wrong finance figures from them (due to not bothering to pay the VAT). Also losing sponsorship and season ticket money wouldn't have helped. Did this hinder the team Newcastle put out?
  3. Gary Flint and Scott Courtney? Who are you saying?
  4. Robert Lambert came back to Belle Vue on his last premiership average so you never know. Thought he might be reassessed due to becoming a grand Prix rider since he was last riding in Britain?
  5. Shame if we cannot keep Bomber. Every time that Schlein is at Berwick there appears to be something wrong (not really what you want from a rider who would probably be your number 1).
  6. Maybe eating dodgy burgers or missing a flight perhaps? Did the Dane not also change clubs in Denmark halfway through the season?
  7. Is Rory making a comeback? Would be a shame if the British under 19 champion wasn't classed as a rising star (if it is kept).
  8. Rules not ideal. Berwick and Oxford had to run r/r for the rider second in their averages also. If your team is built the wrong way (good top 2 or 3) then this seriously weakens you (ok if you have strength in depth team). Won't bother with the stream.
  9. Ace Piper nowhere near ready for championship racing. I was shot down in flames when I mentioned him for the Berwick team. Wouldn't mind Jenkins for Berwick if you don't want him (showed great fight when guesting for Berwick which is all you can ask for).
  10. If that's the case then Tom B scoring 0 and Norick B scoring 2 for Belle Vue won't help them for next year. Maybe change the rules again.
  11. Not Leicester's fault as far as I'm concerned. Raced their last league match in July and waited two months to race the playoffs against Edinburgh. Poole should be the ones forfeiting if it's anyone due to being later finished their league matches and taking 3 weeks to race Plymouth in the playoffs.
  12. Dan and Joe Thompson rode in this meeting when the Poole leg of the grand final was rained off. They then didn't need Kyle and used r/r instead of Kieron.
  13. With the 2022 season over for the Bandits, it's time to look towards 2023. I would like to see Chris and Leon back. Hopefully get Jonas and his brother unless they get fixed up in the main leagues in Poland. Like to see Ace get a place at reserve. Others depend on the team average.
  14. When it mattered holder scored 8+1 from 8 races (not good for a number 1 GP rider). Ref was wrong (for me in heat 3), but holder keeps 3rd in 13 and muselak keeps 2nd in heat 11 and they win with the heat 15 5-1.
  15. Seen something that looked like a cylinder on a bike that Ash-tec was trialing in Bydgoszcz so possibly that?
  16. Seems to happen a few times. Was at the Abbey farewell while on holiday and Swindon run for another 3 or 4 years. Would be good if Edinburgh had another 3 or 4 years to finally secure a new home. Any news on the jubilee trophy? Best wishes to Ulrich now he has retired. Used to be good to watch at Berwick.
  17. The decisions you have made so far in his career have been good. Keep it up. Remember some of the best races on a night were with Luke and Sam on their 125's. Great to see the two of them making great progress along with Ace. Shame I was at a wedding on Saturday night as I seem to have missed an entertaining meeting.
  18. According to Speedway friends on Facebook Greg's season is over so would expect Berwick to need one guest at least (failed to recover fully from a head knock in Keith hamblin post).
  19. Something like that (Crang would be in the meeting if it was the top 16 average riders (would be no Edinburgh or Plymouth riders though). Need representatives from all clubs for it being a divisional riders championship.
  20. Seems to be 2 riders from each team. Kyle pulled out the second match (riding for Plymouth I think) of the double header. Crang is 3rd (riding), Ace is 4th (21 day concussion according to Speedway Star), mason (5th) in the current months averages.
  21. Maybe so. I was there two weeks running and sure Nick Morris and Riss were only beat in one race each (if my memory is correct) earlier in the season. Sure I watched the Glasgow stream and the same thing (cannot remember who only dropped one point). As you say very difficult but not impossible.
  22. I must be getting confused. I thought someone said you can only guest for one team in the playoffs? Didn't Aaron race for Plymouth last night.
  23. Tend to agree whilst on my break at work. Think each event should be looked at individually. If the teams/players are ok, there is medical cover, stewards etc (if required) and everything else is in place the event should take place. As was mentioned earlier you can go to the royal opera House if you want. I agree for the funeral for events being cancelled that day as a mark of respect.
  24. It cannot be that easy. Mildenhall still have 2 meetings (as well as Kent). These teams don't have championship teams also. Unbelievable that Berwick at Leicester has been punted due to a meeting that had a postponement in May.
