  1. Think Emil and Freddie came in on 8, but Kvech didn't. I have no idea how it works when a current and ex GP rider start on an 8 then another GP rider comes and starts on a lower average?
  2. No complaints from me. Riders need to do what's best for their career. Just stating that it's happened a few times.
  3. Seems a common occurrence. Same happened with Ace. Also took riders on converted averages also.
  4. Which is what surprises me. Tries a lot harder when racing for Belle Vue etc than he does for Berwick (seems to race for the four laps when with them but doesn't when with Berwick). Supposed to be the home track specialist who was 6th in the Berwick home averages this season.
  5. Sure Tai has raced more than 10 seasons in Britain. Would be the mid 2000's he started for Scunny. He was also at Rye House before Wolves.
  6. Shame Poole didn't get Leicester. Could have doubled up as the jubilee trophy.
  7. Wouldn't mind a Berwick rider being in decline and be in the top 5 or 6 of the averages in various countries for the past few seasons.
  8. I was just going off others suggestions that McGhee was Belle Vue and others were southern based. When I have been at Redcar I have seen articles in the program from James.
  9. James Black will probably be the Redcar report. He does Berwick reports (and the Berwick stream). Possibly some for Redcar, Edinburgh and Workington also.
  10. Give the team managers the option to line their team up how they want then they could have Kvech at number 1 if they wanted (need to have 2 lowest riders at reserve still). Would give the team manager more options as well.
  11. Every track is technical for me. I am just going by what top riders like Emil and Tai have said.
  12. If as everyone says, the NSS was built to the same sort of spec as Torun in Poland then I would say its not as technical as various other tracks in the UK. This is based on riders like Emil saying he has improved as a rider racing in Britain. Also Tai saying about having to turn the bike again. Mark Lemon also suggesting he will be building a team full of riders (think he said less than 55kgs) who don't weigh a lot. This would suggest other tracks are more technical.
  13. Hopefully the promoters stop this from happening. Not really helping riders from the scheme being dropped for someone else (happened to Drew Kemp this season). A loophole I hope they remove from the rulebook.
  14. Why not use the thread already started?
  15. A made up one, same as other countries? I have no problem with the bans, I just think riders from all countries should be treated the same.
  16. How many years were Americans and Brits banned for when we were bombing countries trying to find weapons of mass destruction etc?
  17. What is the age limit for rising stars? I thought it was under 23 at the start of the season (from 24 last season) and is Jordan not 23?
  18. So the semi final is set. 2nd in league Leicester v 3rd in league Belle Vue. Let's see who they meet in the final.👍
  19. Can you point me in the direction of the Leicester v Ipswich thread? Haven't seen one.
  20. Emil with 6 points from 6 rides tonight. Obviously not fit.
  21. If you include the superheat then Emil will equal that score. Was at Birmingham earlier in the season when he scored 19 points and won the superheat. He therefore had 23 points when Ipswich had 45 points (including the superheat scores).
  22. Watched Torun you tube channel on the meeting (didn't understand what was being said). Emil wasn't taking part in the group warmup (seemed to be 1 to 1) and wasn't with the riders celebrating the win. As you say possibly some pressure to ride (said missing the meeting before was his choice). If Torun have paid or assisted with his rehab then possibly not wanting to take a chance with the injury? I think he would have been racing if he hadn't been injured as Lambert and Dudek are still racing for other teams.
  23. Well done Freddie and his 16 competitors. Enjoyed the meeting and good to see the riders walk away after their crashes. Much prefer the format of top points scorer wins (unlike GP's when top points scorer doesn't always make the final never mind winning).
  24. That's what I was thinking when I seen heat 13 on Facebook. Been on holiday so not seen the matches yet.
