No idea about last year. Just said Freddie was working for them so you are probably right. Will give them a listen when I have time. Thanks. Started listening to Scott Courtney one just now.

Listening to the talk speedway podcast with Peter Facenna. Freddie working for the Glasgow owners (probably a good reason for him to go to Glasgow). Interesting listen. Need to listen to more of these as good content.

Emil wasn't a GP rider and he was an 8 for Ipswich so Madsen would be the same.

Berwick ‘buy a brick’ Bandits 2025

No home meeting v Workington? Says on website report away to Workington on 28 June (although a night meeting in the fixtures). Also has us away the following week (5 July) to Workington? Also has pairs and riders championship a different way in the fixtures compared to the report? Will check the British speedway website when I have time. -
Find out tomorrow when fixtures are.

Teams will race and not make excuses? What other sports have 4 months between rounds of a competition?
-
Why was the first leg of the semi finals for the BSN trophy run at the end of August with the final completed in October? This is the start of season competition and teams held the competition up. Tell teams you are racing before a certain date or you are thrown out the competition.
-
Should be set dates for competitions like other sports. BSN - April, May (semi final), June (final). KOC - round each month (May, June, July etc). This would leave the build up to the league play offs free. Teams shouldn't be able to hold up competitions. When looking at premiership KOC the dates are in the fixtures already. If I go to the football or rugby cup competitions, the dates are set.

Exactly. Need luck on your side at times. If Brady was injured for the play offs instead of being injured for regular season matches -
Premiership 2025 Predictions

Belle Vue wouldn't have been in the final this year if there were no injuries to other teams top riders (could be argued). If Sheffield had Tai then they would have more than likely won over the 2 legs. Belle Vue weren't as good when Brady was missing either so that would be a valid argument. Same could be said about Jason and Emil missing. -
Hopefully he does go well for Workington. Just saying you shouldn't be dropping your average by just under a point when the league averages strength dropped by 2 points this past season.
-
A good reason we finished bottom is because Jye's average drop was the 2nd most in the league (only behind Ben Barker). Didn't help when we also had Lewis Kerr 3rd equal either (a good enough reason for Berwick fans not wanting Jye back).

Think Emil and Freddie came in on 8, but Kvech didn't. I have no idea how it works when a current and ex GP rider start on an 8 then another GP rider comes and starts on a lower average?

No complaints from me. Riders need to do what's best for their career. Just stating that it's happened a few times. -

Seems a common occurrence. Same happened with Ace. Also took riders on converted averages also. -

Which is what surprises me. Tries a lot harder when racing for Belle Vue etc than he does for Berwick (seems to race for the four laps when with them but doesn't when with Berwick). Supposed to be the home track specialist who was 6th in the Berwick home averages this season. -
Sure Tai has raced more than 10 seasons in Britain. Would be the mid 2000's he started for Scunny. He was also at Rye House before Wolves.
-
Shame Poole didn't get Leicester. Could have doubled up as the jubilee trophy.
-
Wouldn't mind a Berwick rider being in decline and be in the top 5 or 6 of the averages in various countries for the past few seasons.
-
I was just going off others suggestions that McGhee was Belle Vue and others were southern based. When I have been at Redcar I have seen articles in the program from James.
-
James Black will probably be the Redcar report. He does Berwick reports (and the Berwick stream). Possibly some for Redcar, Edinburgh and Workington also.

Give the team managers the option to line their team up how they want then they could have Kvech at number 1 if they wanted (need to have 2 lowest riders at reserve still). Would give the team manager more options as well.
