Why not make the leagues have some relevance. If the team who tops the league finishes 10 points above the team in 4th, give the team who topped the league a 10 point start in the play offs. It then makes it harder for the top team to loose but gives other teams a chance.

Either get rid of it for single meetings and have it for aggregate points or give the winning team 3 points. There should be the same amount of points available in every match. The extra point could determine who qualifies for the semi finals.

The problem is that Scott passed Charles last year and then Charles run into him. That is exactly the same as what happend today. Surely with the 2 different referees seeing TV footage of the incidents we get the same exclusion (not different like we got). They have both been trained so surely they are shown scenarios and how to judge them while doing their training. if both referees hadn't seen footage of the incidents then I can see them getting different results but I cannot see them getting different results after seeing tv footage.

Bewley possibly only won at Cardiff because of Laguta and Sayfutdinov. Bewley and Holder got into the GP's when the Russians were kicked out. Who knows who would be in the GP's if that didn't happen.😁

You still have riders picking and choosing even with it being at the start of the season. Nicolai Klindt not riding in this meeting? Richard Lawson not riding in the pairs?
