  1. If Drew had shown any aggression towards Justin he would have received a fine for bringing the sport into disrepute. When riders have squared up to each other at Berwick they have been fined. Remember Woofy saying last year to just let the riders fight instead of fining the riders. He said that despite all the brilliant races Emil has been involved in over the years, the clip on YouTube that has more views than all of them is the one where he is fighting with Scott Nicholls.
  2. Let's hope everything gets sorted out and Workington are back next week. Just goes to show working holidays around speedway isn't the best idea (Workington fans with hotels booked). I also delayed our holiday for a couple of days (when booking) so ironically if Berwick have a match on 12th (was originally due at Oxford), I will still be on holiday.
  3. If it's that close I would say it could be tactical. If Masters had scored a couple more points in the meeting (for a rider of his calibre scoring 5 points from 5 rides is possible) then for the month of July Max Fricke wouldn't have been able to take a r/r ride. Getting hammered 23-7 makes it possible. I would be for my team doing the same. Before last night Masters was above Becker in the rolling averages.
  4. Tactical? Passed Becker in the averages last time I looked but that score could put him back below Luke. Keeps Fricke getting a r/r ride.
  5. Same treatment as Jake Allen who missed the Scunny match on Friday night. Said he was ill also. Craig has already had a 7 day ban this season for missing a meeting.
  6. No. Comparing it to saying Max Clegg etc not getting an average reduction. Got the impression you were against all average reductions, so I was just pointing out an average reduction from this year. Sure when Matty was interviewed at Berwick, he basically said his average was what it was so nobody had offered him a team place.
  7. Victor Palovaara reduced from 6.5 ish to 5.00? Is that not a reduction? Could Matty Wethers not get treated the same if he still wanted to race?
  8. Ben Cook riding today and scoring 7+2 for leszno. Thought he had been signed out for a 7 day period so wouldn't be racing today?
  9. Wasn't a good performance from him last night to be fair to Fromafar. Probably passed more times last night than all other matches he's raced at Berwick combined. If he was his usual self then Berwick would have most probably lost.
  10. Says on updates he's ill. Should now be banned for 7 days like Craig Cook for a non speedway injury.
  11. Sure last season it was Glasgow, Edinburgh and Workington on BSN. This season it will be Edinburgh, Redcar and Workington. As you say, all local derbies.
  12. Seems to be 6 matches this season so that is what Lambert's average should be. Victor Palovaara has a 4-2 split. Sure Peter Kildemand had the same.
  13. Why did the Kings Lynn team manager not mention it in the match report quotation he gave then?
  14. Last year at Glasgow, Berwick had to give a rider (Jason Garrad) 4 races as they had to take Sam Hagon out of heat 14 (Berwick were leading at the time). Maybe he thinks all ref's will go with him to assist. Don't like what kings Lynn have in their report about the Ipswich match (no mention of the shoulder injury). He says we're probably going to need a guest for Ashton. I think everybody can see he's struggling for confidence, it's not good for him and he needs to probably have a reset, but we'll see where we go with that over the next day or so". Would like to think Ipswich would question this also.
