Ajr replied to racers and royals's topic in International World of Speedway
IThanks for that, guess it's back to the planning board !!! 4 weekends Fri and Sun plus possibly a few extraleague meetings should enable me to get to all the main tracks, advisable to book tickets in advance or will it be possible to purchase on the day? -
Extraleague 2025- signings, fixtures and rumours
Ajr replied to racers and royals's topic in International World of Speedway
hi planning to do a visit to all the extra-leauge tracks this yr arriving on a Thurs, gflying back on a Monday. Is it possible to do 2 meetings in one day on the Sunday or are the tracks to far apart? Thank you -
Can see him putting over a point on home average and also increasing his away average following confidence building home meetings. Very shrewd signing IMO. gonede a bit stale at Berwick. New start proper race track might be the thing needed

Hard to believe poole let him go

He might have been on a big bonus!!!

Wow, what are they being paid in Poland?

Redcar used workington for winter practice so will know their way around -
Berwick VS Workington - Border Trophy - 30/03

there will be a lot buying the stream from workington who could not afford or have the time to travel 200 people streaming is good revenue for the club and money they wouldn't have got otherwise from travelling fans. I'd have been looking at £80 fuel plus admission so most away meetings would cost over £100. A lot of money for a speedway meeting -

I would also like to know the answer to this -
Have to feel sorry for Sheffield promotion though , 250 kids in and that farce with the air fence, won't be many going back , however for newbies it had some good racing and unfortunately some spectacular crashes and a close score

Where are all the supporters, been very low attendance at all televised meetings

Newcastle vs Berwick SGB Championship 1 May 4pm
Ajr replied to StevePark's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
????? Thought you were going on the toon -
Completely disagree, this is what's missing at meetings, a bit of interaction with the crowd, I was stood right on the line and i never heard any foul language from the rider, just him gesturing to the reff. Indeed from the childrens reactions nr me , they seemed to enjoy it. Certainly everyone I spoke to afterwards thought it added to the entertainment. Riders get paid per point as no doubt you are aware, so last night Morris lost 2 points through his machinery stopping, hopefully it wasn't an expensive fix. Then he loses another point because of what he sees is a wrong decision by the ref. Money taken out of his pocket. Wouldn't you be mad if it was your money? As for being sent off and a lengthy ban, your having a laugh aren't you? That would only end up as the retirement of another rider.
