Although i am not a Peterborough fan i have been annoyed at the way they seem to be down the pecking order when it comes to dates they have or more to the point they do not have the track available to them.

Sounds like a good meeting. Everybody there must have done a great job. Hope them rumours are not true.

I thought we had a bad night at Swindon yesterday but Krakow.....

What a shame. At least some of the fans should be able to meet Riss at the stadium tonight. Given the time its been called off. Just cannot see him ride at home yet. The future is exciting for Redcar.

Now that is a subject that i have mixed views about. Not re my team but the Sport overall. Anyway this is the Peterborough thread. I feel really sorry for their loyal fans btw.

Think our Colts will win this quite easily. If it was a earlier start i would have come to it. I feel awful that i have not got to a single Colts meeting this season.

Boycotting something from the meeting experience is the best way of doing it IE not buying programme/merch/refreshments. Doing it by not going at all is making things even worse. Speedway needs as many fans as possible. By that i mean actually attending. In football, Yes. Not this Sport.

Aarnio looks to be a bit of a disaster. Still tonight cannot be just down to him. Away meetings are not what we want right now.

I understand your reasons for not attending. But staying away becomes a habit. Our Sport cannot afford to have stay aways.

Bottom 2 next week on the telly. Probably be the most entertaining meeting of the season. Brilliant listening to all the tweets that get read out during the coverage. Its like all the lower league fans want to get their team mentioned. It is brilliant. Cannot blame the Redcar fans for doing that. Exciting time for them.

With the heat like this I hope the track is reasonable. I think it will be a narrow away win but anything can happen. Watching the Swedish meeting then following my lot on twitter. COME ON ACES.

Peterborough are the weakest team at the moment. Some of it, Well quite a lot of it is down to bad luck. As for the rest, I know who i blame..... Big changes needed.

Because i am new to this forum i am looking round it. Seeing all the old threads. Well this one really does get me angry. I used to hear Natalie (BT presenter) doing reports on Aces meetings on GMR. Then Radio Manchester. Now nothing. They give up Speedway long before they made drastic cuts. Like they now do not cover lower Rugby League matches. I think it is bad. As well as this i have noticed the MEN do not mention Speedway anymore. I no longer buy that. Speedway deserves to be mentioned more.

Got to be Belle Vue. Helps provide entertaining and lets face it right now, Safe Speedway. All the riders i have heard say it is the best track in the World. So there, Makes sense.

I have noticed with the Swedish coverage that 1 team is shown 2 weeks running. Now they can change which meeting they are showing at short notice. Anyway i am not complaining. I love the coverage. Like the commentator always say they play great music at the tracks in that Country. Bit of Shakin Stevens at the last one. I love Swedish Speedway.

I make the occasional trip to watch Sheffield. Mainly because they are my 2nd nearest team. Their meetings time suits me too. I always keep an eye on how they are doing. Such a Sporting City is Sheffield.

I am interested. But really i just check out the scores of the Colts. I should go every now and then. Only a tenner i believe.

I reckon Premier Sports might get it. Then the BT folk, Kelvin, Nigel, Natalie etc will go to them. There needs to be a highlights/magazine style programme too.
