  1. Workingtons treble winning team in 2018 had the same structure as Peterborough this year
  2. The money man at Oxford isn't worried about money apparently...
  3. I agree, hence why I support the dropping of the rising star. But it's looking to be a strong 9 team NDL, giving riders plenty of track time to develop so they will be ready for the leap in years to come
  4. This. And a better NDL to help bridge the gap instead of forcing riders that aren't ready to step into the Championship
  5. Not sure why you'd class them as inflated averages. They earned them in a tough league, which will be of similar standard this year. Bowtell, Jenkins and Flint already signed up. Thompson's, Palin, Kemp, Edwards, Hume, Thomas all likely to get places easily.
  6. They're not confusing. All promoters have the correct and upto date GSAs I just don't think they've been added to the website yet
  7. He didn't achieve the average he comes in on. His average was around 6 in champ. He comes in on a converted Prem average and will therefore drop straight down after the first month as he reverts to his rolling champ ave. I suspect George has a month to show he's capable or he'll be out when more points become available.
  8. Bit of a silly question really. Some clubs are happy to go on what has been previously discussed and will have to make changes to those last 2 riders if the points limit changes at the AGM. It has absolutely nothing to do with the BSPL. On another note, neither does Vatcher, it seems you've emailed the SCB not BSPL
  9. Is it left field? Which clubs in the league could afford Crumps wages on his low average?
  10. I'd definitely class MPT as a gater. He also loved riding for Plymouth previously
  11. Also Batch couldn't drop down this year as his converted average was above 12
  12. He's now signed for ekstraliga I believe!
  13. Just going by the rules "except when a recognised TV company is in attendance who provide multi-angle replay views to the Referee, all decisions taken by a Referee shall be made without referral to a TV/video monitor or replay thereof"
  14. But if there was a simpler option of Oxford just choosing a different night that they're happy with then it makes even more sense. I swear people think Godfrey has this almighty power. It will have been discussed, amongst ALL promoters and Oxford will have made their case too.
  15. It's a sensible move! Clubs struggle on Fridays as it is for guests etc. You only have to look at the prem when all 6 teams are riding and guests are needed
  16. Referee can't use replays unless it is a professional TV broadcasting company. Not sure a streaming company would qualify for that, if so would have to be agreed beforehand I'd assume!
  17. That is exactly what was planned for 2020 to be fair. With the vision of pushing the conversion rate up over the years also. Makes total sense
  18. Surely if the doubling up is to be phased out as best it can then the conversion needs to go up if anything. Force riders to only be able to ride in one league
  19. Nope as he's not replacing a rising star. His actual average comes into play for this.
  20. No hope needed. Points limits are voted on by all promoters so Rob has no more influence than any other club and can't know before anyone else
  21. Every team is building with the knowledge from discussions that go on most weeks. No headstart at all
  22. None of the averages are currently correct, there's amended ones minus Eastbourne results to come out
  23. And how would they have promoted it after only confirming where it would be late on Friday?!
