  1. You only had him half a season that's why haha!
  2. With over 8 remaining I can't see Leicester having Mountain. They still have space for a number 1
  3. Big difference is the amount of years they've been plugging away. Woolley has long stepped on a bike, then hadn't ridden all season before we signed him. I don't think it's down to Tom or Danny tbh, there's other 2 point riders I'd rather see progress that Danny
  4. Luke can't ride championship due to his visa I believe!
  5. The thing is you're talking about the teams that finished the league. Riders who improved their average have, on a whole, become better riders over the year. As much as "lesser riders" will take their place the standard would still be the same as the beginning of last year. These lesser riders may progress to be better! The lineups for music festivals from years ago will always look better than today's if you look at them today. Because bands booked as small bands back then have gone on to become headliners. But at the time they had the same quality as today.
  6. What about Jonas Jeppesen? Surely someone has to pick him up on a 5.2! Edit: actually I think he may have to take a converted premiership assessed average of 6.4? Still worth a bash though!
  7. I didn't think you could have anyone over a 12 point average as it's actually impossible to reach when on an actual average.
  8. Averages 3 to 5 a meeting yet has a 2.23 average hmmm... The problem with Danny is he's been stuck at the same level for 4 years. No improvement in him. I'd rather go with a younger reserve and watch them grow
  9. I don't need to. They couldn't pay the bonds that had been set up front, that means they couldn't afford it.
  10. They simply can't afford to be in the championship
  11. Only .74 under with all those reductions. So similar to a team with no Brits really
  12. I think the main point was to bring more local clashes as they bring in the most money.
  13. They're hoping to have the Shield or similar up and running as well so that would be even more matches. I think they're going on the fact league meetings are far better attended than other meaningless competitions
  14. This was the statement for 2019 season and it's the same this year. NB to support the progression of riders who have progressed through the National Development League, all riders will receive a 2.5% reduction in their average
  15. Reductions for Kyle, Danny, Josh and Simon would surely let Simon fit?
  16. The leagues are split for points purpose not who you race. Race your league twice home and away, race the other league once
  17. Announced at Redcar last night that it would be two separate leagues of North and South with top 3 from each qualifying. Champions of each would go straight to play off semis and the rest battle it out amongst themselves
  18. There wasn't a rule of needing a 2 pointer...
  19. That's not how it worked this year. If a rider didn't start the season in the league he had to use a converted average
  20. Bacon rode the tough no.2 from the beginning of the season and put points on his average. Winning heat 1 in most meetings, home or away.
  21. Never understand this logic. Riders with an average below haven't ridden as well as Tom did so therefore he'd be the better rider to have
  22. Kasper is a must for me. Absolute steal on that average!
