Ulrich would have to be third heat leader in that proposed team

I understand averages well, and I get that some riders are on inflated averages due to the lower points limit, so lesser opposition. My point is that young riders are still progressing too so that does have some affect on it. The whole point of the lower points limit last year was to effectively push the better riders up into the top league only and therefore weaken the championship slightly, which makes total sense. The only thing they should also have done is reduced the price
-
That's also down to improvement though. Etheridge and Flint both excelled last year and put points on their average. That's why Bickley has been brought in.
-
Those maths don't work out. How can he average less both home and away than his finishing average? Which increased last season too!

Birmingham Brummies 2020

Conversion rate is 1.6 so Becker would be 8.43. I also doubt he'd get a visa for both leagues as that was his issue last year -
Bickley can't pass on any track so it won't really matter

I'm thinking it could be an NDL announcement after the AGM this weekend

Who was paying Wells to ride rubbish in the PL then?!

SGB Championship 2020 Confirmed Signings

And they now have a new owner -
He hasn't been at Redcar many times this year. And previous to that he was always restricted by being too young to go out with anyone else on his 500. When I say he hasn't had excessive laps, I'm meaning at the level he is at now where he'd be able to learn lines and how the track rides, not adjusting to the bigger bike.
-
Cause as a young lad he's still improving. Was thrown in the deep end over here! I'd guess the track might be his local?
-
It all depends how you build your team. Obviously Bukhave was a good addition over Lambert, as Lambert was always going to struggle round Brough. But I'd say Lambert offers more away from home. Unfortunately he's also a confidence rider so if things aren't going right at his home track his away form suffers. Personally I think Newcastle will build to win at home first and foremost. And with that should take the gamble with Bukhave
-
I actually don't think Elliot does know MPA very well. He rode it alot on a 125 but I wouldn't say he's had excessive laps on his 500 which is a totally different ride. For me I'd like to see him doing a few more second halves this year round Redcar and really learning some knowledge of set ups etc.

After sitting and doing some some maths this is the team id like to see Charles Wright 9.35 (9.59) Kasper Andersen 4.86 Michael Palm Toft 8.18 Jordan Stewart 5.74 Erik Riss 8.41 Jack Thomas 2.43 (2.49) Woolley/Lawlor/Jenkins/Gilkes 2.00 Total - 40.97

Apologies it was 2016 my bad!
-
Hasn't ridden for the bears for years? He signed for us at the beginning of last season... I'm saying he's not good enough as a FOUR POINT rider. I'm not saying he wouldn't beat Danny Phillips. Assets are a whole different argument and I think you'll find most people think they're outdated
-
Like I've said it's nothing against the guy. Had many dealings with him and he's a nice enough bloke. But having watched him for the past two seasons I have a different opinion to yours in regards to points on his average
-
I don't think Greaves will be back, but I'd certainly have him in the team before Bukhave if we had around 4 points spare. What is the obsession with pitting Bukhave against Phillips?! They're on different averages so are not comparable for team building! If we do end up with Phillips it won't be a chose over Bukhave
-
Greaves, Mountain, Bickley, Wood, Hume, Morley, Perry
-
That's Bukhaves problem though, he wouldn't mean no Danny as he's stuck on a 4. I have nothing against the lad but he's just too big a gamble on a 4. There's some good British lads out there on that average worth a go over him
-
That honestly means nothing. Greaves scored 9+4 at Berwick from 5 rides yet is still only a 4 point rider. Having watched him this year I don't think he's improved enough since being in the Redcar team last year to warrant a place next year on a 4 point average.
-
And to me that's no good. We need people to push on and achieve more. I think he'd be hitting 6 at home but very poor away
-
He should have finished higher of the individuals as he had a higher average. What I'm saying is he isn't good enough to gamble on a 4 point average. You surely can't be using the Silver Helmet as any comparison?! If we take Bukhave on a 4 we then need to sign a 5/6 pointer and I can't see where that would come from.
-
You mean white

Would be a bad move for me, he's not good enough
