  1. Get yourself down and grab a mic, we have plenty of hours to fill at these events!
  2. As stated there were 73 heats ran yesterday. The track held up until around heat 65 in my opinion. Any track should handle 30 heats no problem with proper prep. They also won't be ran in the afternoon with the sun shining!
  3. The original link wouldn't start unfortunately so we had to change it to a new one. Again without an extra pair of hands we struggled to hen get that link out to the public.
  4. Thank you for this extremely insightful and fair assesment. We certainly noted most of the comments you raised, unfortunately we needed a few more hands than we had to sort the issues that arose as once the stream began it becomes a bit frantic to fix things that aren't working. Really appreciate this post as it gives a very balanced view. We will be back, and we will address what we consider were the small issues.
  5. I'd say they must be happy to class themselves as amateurs as they entered themselves in the class. No one forced them
  6. Someone suggested Bach could go to Redcar and I simply said we don't have that space
  7. Way over Redcar's average now. We've only got 6.6 to play with
  8. It'll be 5 won't it? Europeans tend to come in on a 5.
  9. They're not redoing fixture list. It was built to enable some changes so cancelled meetings just get slotted in later on
  10. Hard to raise an average when you go through the tapes three times a meeting!
  11. It hasn't cost him a team place. If he was on the scheme Edinburgh still couldn't use him as their rising star
  12. Making James a rising star wouldn't help him anyway as he'd be a 4, meaning Edinburgh still couldn't use him He may also have turned it down
  13. I thought it was already said that Crump is now on an 8pt average as he's missed yet another year of British speedway? From my understanding last year he was due to start on 8.21 but now it's 8. Meaning his Championship average will be 12
  14. I think he should. He's never had a proper crack at Championship level and has been away for 10 years. Certainly a better choice than some there that have been around years and not progressed
  15. I certainly think he'll be up there! Should push Andersen and Stewart along too
  16. Ahh so it didn't change during the year it was just set out to change the following year. I'm guessing it isn't moving to 1.7 this year!
  17. The conversion rate went up last season I believe. Started at 1.5 but moved to 1.6 later in the year as planned. That's why Edinburgh brought masters in for the last few meetings as they couldn't really progress and he'd get a true championship average over a converted one
  18. Exactly this! The amount of people that just think businesses (speedway teams) should just give up now cause there's signs it might not happen is mad. You have to push on with positive options!
  19. Redcar have 10.87 remaining. You've added the reserve 2pt in I think?
