Just out of curiosity, I noticed on Tuesday that the Clerk of the Course came to the tapes and pointed something at the bikes. Does anyone know what he was doing? Genuine question; I was just puzzled because I haven't seen that before.

According to the Web site, South Stand car parking is not available. I paid for my parking when I purchased my season ticket. I haven't been told that I can't park there. Does anyone know anything about it please?

Lots of entertainment in the grandstand before the meeting started. I sit in row D. The people sat next to me discovered they should have been sat in row E. The people who took their seats then discovered they were supposed to be in row C which meant the people in row C ended up in row D. They all managed to grab a seat before the racing started so no-one was out.

I totally agree. The riders looked like they were part of a video game from that angle.

Bit of a marathon last night. I know the meeting started a bit late due to the junior championship before hand but two hours for a Colts meeting ?! I'm usually on my way home by 9:30, it was almost quarter to ten when heat 15 finished. And they wanted to get a move on because rain was imminent.

Yesterday two identical copies were delivered. That makes five copies in two weeks. Must be some kind of record.

My copy is delivered by News team. No delivery on Thursday or Friday so I phoned Dave in the office. He said he would send them an email. I finally had a copy delivered on Saturday.....and a copy delivered on Sunday.....and a copy delivered today. Can't wait to see what happens tomorrow!

Finished reading mine last night. The first part about his family life was quite interesting because PC grew up less than five miles from where my family lived and it brought back a few memories for me. ( He is a few years older than me though)

Does anyone know if season tickets and parking passes are valid tonight? I tried to contact the club but got no response.

I got into tractors by helping Glyn Taylor at Belle Vue with the track. I ended up with buying the Belle Vue Massey 35. There are plenty of tractor fans that would enjoy watching the tractors. My long suffering wife is now an extractor fan as I now have 5 tractors and a steam engine.
