  1. Since it's the Belle Vue and Wolverhampton averages that are wrong, I would suspect you have missed the Belle Vue v Wolves match entirely? https://britishspeedway.co.uk/22results/belle_vue_13.06.22_res_pjl.pdf
  2. Well, you're complaining about someone's posting on a speedway forum. So I guess you're talking about youself being the person just looking for anything to complain about? I think the previous poster has a genuine point. If they've paid, back in May, for a first-issue hot-off-the-press priority copy, and their money has been held for nearly 6 months, I'd say they have a right to be miffed that people who haven't pre-paid, can just walk up and get the first signed copies at Sheffield on Monday and jump the queue like Phil and Holly at a funeral.
  3. If he isn't leaving, how are they going to fit in Bewley, Lambert, Fricke, Zagar and Kurtz next year?
  4. For someone who is used to being a loser, and isn't bothered about being a loser, he hasn't half done some crying on this forum since they lost.
  5. Yes. I wondered why they'd included bonus points. All I did was correct the number of matches, rides, and points for Wolves and Belle Vue as they were wrong. I stuck to including bonus points on the corrected calculations as that was the way the original poster had mainly done it.
  6. Don't know about the rest, haven't had time to check them, but Wolves and Belle Vue are definitely wrong. They should be Belle Vue RIDER MAT RIDES POINTS BP TOTAL AVERAGE Freddy Hodder 4 11 22 1 23 8.36 Sam McGurk 3 7 15 1 16 9.14 Kyran Lyden 4 13 21 2 23 7.08 Jack Shimelt 4 14 8 2 10 2.86 Eli Meadows 1 3 2 0 2 2.67 Wolverhampton RIDER MAT RIDES POINTS BP TOTAL AVERAGE Joe Thompson 3 9 24 0 24 10.67 Tom Spencer 3 10 20 2 22 8.80 Luke Harrison 2 6 10 2 12 8.00 James Laker 1 4 5 2 7 7.00 Sam Woolley 4 12 13 2 15 5 .00 Luke Killeen 2 6 12 0 12 8.00
  7. The team who replaced a rider with a season-ending injury and therefore didn't cheat are the ones I want to win. The team who made more changes than allowed with a non-season-ending injury and therefore clearly cheated are the ones I don't want to win. Thought I made that quite clear?
  8. Maximum 2 team changes in the transfer window. Can only make a third team change if it's for a season-ending injury. Craig Cook hasn't had a season ending injury but they booted him out for Lewis Kerr.
  9. I think Sheffield start favourites on current form, but I hope Belle Vue win because I don't want to see cheats prosper.
  10. Yes. They didn't stage any. That's what I said. They turned up to the other teams staging matches, but didn't stage any of their matches. The Northern group didn't seem to have any problems. All teams raced all 4 fixtures . The Southern group managed to stage just 2 matches between the lot of them.
  11. Here you go:- NORTH Belle Vue Belle Vue 22 Sheffield 5 Belle Vue 11 Wolverhampton 24 Sheffield Sheffield 6 Belle Vue 23 Sheffield 17 Wolverhampton 18 Wolverhampton Wolverhampton 24 Belle Vue 12 Wolverhampton 18 Sheffield 14 SOUTH Ipswich Ipswich 13 Peterborough 21 King's Lynn King's Lynn 22 Peterborough 13 Peterborough None staged.
  12. Well done to Belle Vue, Sheffield, and Wolverhampton on completing the Northern section riding their two home and two away fixtures. Congratulations to Wolverhampton who have qualified for the "final that never will be", as the Southern section couldn't be bothered. Shame on King's Lynn and Ipswich who staged just 1 fixture, and Peterborough who didn't even bother staging any at all!
  13. Cup and play-offs come later. This has to be fitted in before the league cut-off.

  15. In what way is paying money to the landlords of Leicester any different than paying to the landlords of Scunthorpe or King's Lynn? (Surely they're all owned by the promoter?) Or Redcar for that matter, which would have been another good choice? At least it would have been a neutral (and better prepared) track. Bit of a joke holding it at the home of two Championship riders. And we wouldn't have had the farce of a race where 2 riders fell, 1 spun 360, and one gave up. The one who spun 360 winning, and the one who gave up then restarting when one of the other 2 fallers got back on.
  16. Shame it's being held at Leicester. It could have been a decent meeting at a different track, but this is just a foregone conclusion.
  17. So now we know that 75.5% of fans are as thick as the Championship Promoters.
  18. Typical BSP thinking. "OK lads. Shall we get out there and promote the sport to the millions who don't know it exists?" "That sounds like a lot of work boss" "Well, what about if we take the best rule change we've made in recent history and just reverse it for a laugh?" "hear, hear"
  19. Both. They're more expensive because they're in the middle by the starting gate, and more expensive because they're padded and more comfy. But there's no bad seat in the grandstand, and a lot of people like to be down by the first bend/pits end. You'd have no trouble buying a ticket for the grandstand on the day, but after a certain time I don't think you can pick which seat you want. You'll just get one anywhere in the block.
  20. Been shockingly bad crowds and a shockingly bad track devoid of passing,... no comparison to Belle Vue last year. But proud of Dan Bewley and Robert Lambert. Terrific effort without arguably the GB No.1. World Champions last year, runners up this year. And bronze medal in the U-21. Not too shabby at all. (And of course the new world champions would be British if their grandfathers hadn't been criminals).
