  1. Stop talking sense, that's not allowed on here. He must hit the ground running and be able to ride tracks he's never seen before from day 1!! Tut tut. It's not his fault that Birmingham have been build so poorly, he's a solid rider but to be thrown in the deep end at number 1, partnered with Tom or Steve (two experienced campaigners) and against the likes of Jack Holder, Tai Woffinden, Maciej Janowski, Emil Sayfutdinov, Jason Doyle, Chris Harris. He's never going to score to his assessed 7.50 average now is he? He should be at number 3 or 4 (against the Josh Pickering, Nicolai Klindt, Charles Wright, Danny Kings of the league) with a solid team around him.
  2. No offence to Jenkins. He's a good talent, got a bright future ahead of him, but I'd bite your hand off if you offered me Riss over him. Riss and Heeps at 3 and 4 looks much stronger than Heeps and Jenkins. Needs to be done before 22nd of May.
  3. Really don't think Oxford look that good this year but I'm still shocked at how close Plymouth got to winning this meeting. Thompson twins starting off the season great.
  4. Since my beloved childhood Diamonds closed I have grown more attached to Plymouth (a team I liked before the Diamonds closed anyway) and more recently Glasgow (Love the city, follow their ice hockey team, always up in the west coast of Scotland) it would be hard for me to choose between the two... But Plymouth are definitely my 'south' team
  5. You mean like chucking a rider out of a team opportunity because they 'haven't done anything worth talking about' in less than a year of riding... It's a development league and some riders take longer than others to develop... He's only 18. If he was in his late 20s I'd kinda get the argument...
  6. I mean... I've only seen Mark ride the once in a second half meeting at Redcar last season... But are we really going to write an 18 year old off already?
  7. Can you rewatch BSN streams from your account at any point in the season? Or is it just live? Can I rewatch a meeting say in November this year that was streamed this April.
  8. Set ups are changed in wet conditions though, carburettors are adjusted, gearing is changed, engine power is limited etc... there's only so much you can do on a soggy mud track. F1 is different because it's on tarmac and they have millions if not billions invested into it. That's a bad comparison. If the conditions are dangerous, it must be off for rider safety. The workington promotion have deemed it unfit for racing. We have, after all, had the wettest winter in 250 years and not much sun... we're also being hit by one of them stupidly named storms right now too, so it's hardly surprising that the meeting is off. As has been the case for most meetings so far this year.
  9. But back in the day they would race in anything ey Let's all forget just how much more powerful the bikes are these days and daydream about the olden days instead...
  10. Hopefully scunthorpe can not waste everyone's time again this week.
  11. I didn't believe it at first considering how many young riders 'announced their retirement' over Facebook on 1st April... I assume in Archie's case it's true though as he hasn't said April fools yet...
  12. Nicholls is a temporary signing... plymouth need guests. Whether it's an ndl rider or a rider at 75% who knows
  13. Michael hartel (complete guess, I've got a 0.1% chance of looking smart)
  14. I'm sure Steve Worrall, as a speedway rider, would be highly offended to be tarred under the same brush as any of the alleged above. Considering last season when his testimonial meeting was cancelled he collected together all the food he had arranged and donated it to the local homeless shelter. There are many, many wonderful speedway riders out there and I'd love to invite anyone below with similar stories. Let's change the next few pages into something positive and not rats who mug grannies and get a few years with a free bed and breakfast paid by the tax payers, eh? I'd love to know who the nice lads of speedway are.
  15. You've just narrowed it down to not plenty of riders there none worthwhile anyway. Need a thrid heatleader
  16. Not even his 'mistake' he's just a little rat and he needs to stay the hell away from the sport... Would other riders really feel safe on the track with him...
  17. I am a massive fan of Plymouth... But if Garrity did go anywhere near this team (or any other) then I'd refuse to visit ever again, and I assume I wouldn't be the only one... I guess the posts above are false though (or so I hope)
  18. Nowhere near a third heat leader and I thought he'd retired...?
  19. Especially with Niels and Emil. Both already talk quietly.
  20. Knew he was in Poland but don't really follow Sweden or Denmark. Good for him, he's much better in higher leagues.
  21. As much as Bellego didn't do well for Sheffield last year, surely he's too good for the championship? He's a class rider, especially on a big track... If Workington could pull that off it would be incredible
  22. It's not a complaint. Every sport needs characters like his... I'm just not a fan of characters like his... He's not taking this press conference seriously at all (the video where they're all stood in a line on the back row of the stand, he's the only one who didn't look at the camera, he decided it was more important to be talking to the rider next to him instead) it makes all the hard work that everyone put into this event look worse off and it's a little disrespectful honestly... Haven't liked him for years, his attitude stinks and everyone loves to blow smoke up his arse which makes it worse!!
  23. I can't wait. Most exciting part of the off season. Watching who's winding who up
  24. Kenneth Hansen, Anders Rowe and Josh Auty?
