Complete or partake in? Because 2025 will be Huckenbecks second full year in the GPs as far as I can see.
-
Would Kai Huckenbeck's assessed average not be 8.00? With him being a Grand Prix rider. I'd love to see Tarasenko back over here though, I think there was only going to be loads more left from him, the more he got used to riding over here.

A geographical league makes sense from a team point of view, but for a rider it would make more sense if the teams were spread all over the country in both leagues. For example there's a kid who lives in Edinburgh. His teams could be Edinburgh in the NDL and Workington in the NT rather than a north/south split where his teams would be Edinburgh and Birmingham/Kent/Plymouth etc. Less travelling for home meetings for individual riders. So it's swings and roundabouts. Although I do understand Workington's issues with travel.

No, but something along the lines of we're hoping Mitch can come in and achieve his average and try and keep his place in the main body of the team. Which is more realistic, not putting such a hype around him that he's going to be a big disappointment... again (Goret, Turner, Baek) No but he's going to be riding a small track and when I mean he isn't very good I mean at this level!! Not at Premiership level. I'm more than happy to be proven wrong though and I do wish him luck. And I always want to see plymouth do well.

“We believe that we have signed one of the best newcomers to UK Speedway in the past few seasons.” 🤣 I admire the optimism... I do like Plymouth and I like Garry... but come on.
-
Palovaara is very good against well established riders in Sweden, he'll be a lot better than the last time he rode here.
-
Sounds promising. I've only seen him once at Plymouth, and he spent more time on the grass than he did the track. Still won the meeting though!! Hopefully he has a good season.
-
What are we thinking Rushen will do next year? 4 point average? 6? 8? How good of a prospect really is he? I've got to be honest, other than hearing his name I know nothing about him.
-
I know he's still riding over in America, but would he ever come back to the uk? Did he ride anywhere in europe this/last year at all?
-
Yeah he doesn't seem like the most aggressive kid going... hopefully it'll come with age and he's a later bloomer
-
Leicester always has at this level, they always put a very young team out on track.
-
Nothing really. Exactly the same rules for both 'leagues' just think of them as two completely different leagues with exactly the same rules and points limit. It minimises club expenditure but maximises rider track time because one rider can ride in both 'leagues'... It's actually a good idea from both the clubs and riders point of view... It's not about things looking good on paper in terms for teams and silverware at this level, just about maximising track time and experience for the young riders. (Which yes, can include having an experienced rider in the team to help bring them on, nothing wrong with that imo...)
-
I get that, and good luck to him. But from a Plymouth team point of view, it's not the best.
-
I personally don't think Mitch is very good. Think he'll struggle on a small track too. Hope I'm wrong 😬
-
Depends on if workington spitting their dummy out causes a north south split or not
-
So it's looking like... 1. Ben Trigger 2. Eli Meadows 3. Max Perry 4. Sonny Springer 5. Max James 6. Cooper Rushen 7. Ryan Ingram
-
10.49 I think. So Vinnie Foord 6.29 and Rhys Naylor 4.13 fits...
-
Would love to see it
-
Nathan Ablitt signs
-
Sonny Springer. Another brilliant signing!!
-
My biggest disappointment if I was an Edinburgh fan would be losing Lasse. Victor is a good signing and I think Jonatan will surprise a few if he can get used to the track. Just lacking that real number 1 because Justin just isn't it, decent number 5 or good number 3 but not a 1.
-
When's Edinburgh's next signings due then?
-
Starke isn't the rider he was a few years back... but he should do a solid job at reserve at Poole all season. He's not going to catch Tobias in terms of average. I'm guessing Starke was option B and they were trying to get a certain Aussie in on a 4.00 but he would have been a 5.00, hence the 'numbers game' excuse with Vinnie who as it turns out would have fit.

Any ideas on who might be in the team for next season? I'm guessing whoever is at the bottom end for the Monarchs might be in the NDL team, but as we don't know who that is yet I'll have a go at: Connor Coles 8.00 Kyran Lyden 3.53 Sam McGurk 5.56 Max Perry 6.89 Dayle Wood 7.76 Mark parker 3.00 Lee Harrison/Owen Booth 3.00 Would be night to see Max Perry getting a team place in the NDL somewhere, even if he is riding for them lot in the west, Connor Coles and Dayle Wood are presumably givens? Is Sam McGurk still in favour? Thoughts?

When's the side going to be announced then? I heard it was supposed to be announced the same night as the Aces but never heard anything. I'm guessing William Cairns will be there, even with his massive average, but beyond that it's hard to tell. I would like to see Matt Marson and Chad Wirtzfeld get team places somewhere and Declan Killeen is also without a team place now assuming he's riding in Britain. A top 4 of William Cairns, Freddy Hodder, Matt Marson and Chad Wirtzfeld would only leave 9.27 for the final 3 riders, so three 3.00 riders? Not sure who's knocking about. Thoughts?
