Forgive me for putting him in the same thread as some of these legendary names, and I know there's a lot of people gonna laugh at this, but Ludvig Lindgren around the 3rd and 4th bends of Newcastle will always stick with me, he practically reversed it into the bends at times to get around the inside line. We also had a rider during our 2011/2012 seasons called Claes Nedermark, he had a brilliant style on the bike and I was gutted when he left. Reminded me of a mini version of bomber. Speaking of which... Why has no one mentioned Bomber yet!! I'm WAAAY too young to remember anyone else on this thread other than Simon Lambert. 🫣 Forgive me but I haven't seen many of the old style riders, I can only comment on who I've seen in person!!

Better than NKI Blodorn, continental Milik and Harris but only a number 2? I'd say he's good for 3 or 4 in the team imo. Very solid rider and doesn't give up when he's at the back. I like him. Just depends on how he adjusts to British tracks, but they're not too dissimilar to Danish and Swedish tracks, where he's spent a lot of time racing. I can see him being a surprise for some fans.

He'll need time to get going, like most riders will, but I'd say chances are come mid season he'll be a dependable rider

We are both talking about Jonas Jeppesen, right? How can either Jonas or Riss start at 6 for Birmingham?

I assume Rhys Naylor will be in the team now as well. Rhys, Ben and Nathan Ablitt would be a good heatleader trio. Along with Jack Kingston, Nathan Hargrave, Sam Woods and then whatevers left.

Depends on how the powers that be are feeling at the time. If it was a choice between Madsen and Kubera I'd chose Kubera every single time. Particularly with Magic already in the team. I'm glad he will be tbh, I have a soft spot for the chargers (not sure why as I don't really have a soft spot for the Spires or Cheetahs). I enjoy watching their reruns on YouTube and they've always got a young and exciting team, jody being one of them. Nice to see them sticking with him.

Jonas didn't really work out at Redcar at the beginning of last year at number 3 and number 2, he's a decent second string and good reserve but still young and I'm sure still improving. Mitch is Australia's equivalent of Ashton Boughen (forgive the reference). He's got all the talent and potential in the world, he's very young but just hasn't had the time yet to prove he's consistently going to be successful. He's a very exciting signing for British speedway in general imo. But as you say, Heeps as second highest scorer is concerning...

I'd have never in a million guesses named Jonas or Mitch. It's nice to see so many new faces in this country next year, well done oxford. I've just realised though... that leaves either Jenkins, Heeps, Gilkes or Knudsen as the number 5... and a lot of team surgery required if Scott comes back from injury.

Can I ask why birkemose was banned? It's the first I've heard of it, I assumed he'd just quit the sport. Was he banned in all countries? He was a hell of a prospect.

I'd be pretty gutted to lose out on Lasse if i was an Edinburgh fan, if it turns out to be true.

Would I be wrong in assuming that Ben Barker and Kyle Newman are certainties next year? How about a return for Ben Trigger since he's struggling for a team place, could double up with the National Trophy side? He's gonna say that though isn't he? It's a very generic thing to say when you've signed for a team. He's not gonna say 'despite the team looking sh ite I decided to sign anyway'
