What would Palovaara, Sedgmen, Paco, Lasse and Max James come to? What would be left? I'm at work so shouldn't really be looking 🤣
-
Palovaara is an excellent signing. If they can find a decent rider to ride at 1 or 5 that would be an OK heatleader trio. Add Paco and Lasse to complete the top 5?
-
Stanislav Melnychuk is a very exciting rider, particularly at this level of the sport, and if his disturbed schedule from last season hasn't affected his progress in the sport he'll do a good job. He's the type of rider, as a neutral, I would come to watch. Hope this rumour turns out to be true.

Thank you for typing the post that I couldn't be bothered to the other day.
-
That's a very good team...very expensive though...
-
Perhaps he just doesn't want to...? Does there need to be a reason? Perhaps he feels Glasgow is a worthwhile of a club to travel for where Scunthorpe isn't. With all due respect Glasgow is much more professionally run and much more likely to be chasing for honours.
-
Batchelor and Hook Or Riss and Hook?
-
Thompson yes he's 10.something James and Foord no. 7.20 and 6.29 respectively. Spencer is number 2 in the averages for Leicester and has been racing in a heatleader position all season. I don't think he'd be the worst number 7 in the league and rides Redcar well, and he's got some experience too, not a world beater but better than others who may be available on a 2.00 who haven't already been snapped up.
-
Tom Spencer has an average in the NDL of 7.22 riding at number 3 in a very good Lion Cubs team, how's that not a heatleader?
-
1 Charles Wright © 8.37 2 Sam Hagon 4.73 3 Kye Thomson 6.53 4 Jason Edwards 6.19 5 Danny King 7.88 6 Jake Mulford 4.27 7 Tom Spencer 2.00 Take out Erik and Ace and add Kye and Sam then? Makes it a bit more balanced, the reserves are slightly stronger with Jake starting there. I don't see Sam or Kye staying at their current teams so could be options. Personally I don't see Tom being much worse than the likes of Max James last season, he's slowly cooking down in the NL without drawing too much attention to himself, but he's a tidy rider and partnered with either Jake or Sam all season he won't be under too much pressure.
-
Which is why I partnered him with Kyle, who probably should be at 5. But allows Kyle to take heat 14 to strengthen the end of the meeting. There's arguments in all ways on how to set the team up.
-
If the above rumoured team is true you could easily set it up so Leon had an easier role. He's clearly a very promising rider and probably riding Sheffield rather than Birmingham in the PL will do him all the world of good, with all due respect to Birmingham. He is the highest averaging RS for a reason. 1. Chris Harris 2. Leon Flint 3. Ashton Boughen 4. Kyle Howarth 5. Dan Thompson 6. Max Perry 7. Freddy Hodder Ride like that for the first few months and if he excels and gets his confidence up swap him to 3, if not he's always going to do a good job at number 2. Same applies for Kyle and Dan, depends on who's performing the best is who rides at 5 and who rides at 4. It's a very flexible team. Reserves suck though.
-
As a neutral, Thomson and Starke is the obvious combo imo... Don't rate Ablitt as much as either 1. Richard Lawson 2. Tobias Thomsen 3. Anders Rowe 4. Zach Cook 5. Lewis Kerr 6. Paul Starke 7. Max Perry until Cairns? Dunno what the averages add up to.
-
Wonder if signing number 2 is gonna be announced tomorrow at 7am?
-
1. Nico Covatti 2. Kyle Newman 3. Joe Thompson 4. 6.41 5. Ben Barker 6. Alfie Bowtell 7. Patrick Baek/Jacob Hook Final rider could be, Claus Vissing, Jason Edwards, Connor Mountain that kind of rider. This is what I expect the plymouth team to look like... not Zagar. Matej is one of my favourite riders of all time from the best country on the planet, Plymouth have always been up there as one of my favourite teams, so it would be amazing to see. But it's just not going to happen... surely?
-
I had 2.94 for the final rider and he fit perfectly, I've heard he's off to scunthorpe but I can't see that being true either.
-
1 Charles Wright © 8.37 2 Jake Mulford 4.27 3 Danny King 7.88 4 Jason Edwards 6.19 5 Erik Riss 7.35 6 Ace Pijper 2.94 7 Ben Trigger 3.00 Reserves are pretty weak aye, but that top 5 more than makes up for it and both do have experience in the league already.
-
That would be a brilliant signing
-
Jesse mustonen on a 5.00 average is nearly as much of a piss take as vadim tarasenko on a 5.00 average... oh wait a minute.

So would I tbh, although it's been a good 18 months since I've seen either of them ride, so things could be different. Gilkes has always impressed me though. -
I was just going purely by Aussie results. Declan Killeen is a 3.00er in the NL but he flies is Australia. Could be a big rider in the NL next season... if there's more than 5 home meetings anyway. I'm sure that's been said every year since covid too hasn't it?

That's fair enough, I wasn't aware of such. I've been so far out of touch with speedway for the past 16 months, just lost interest altogether... Just trying to find my feet with it again 😆 Not sure how long it will last... -

As the above posts: Swap Pearson for Gilkes. That's definitely under. 1 Craig Cook 8.43 2 Danyon Hume 4.87 3 Drew Kemp 6.47 4 Dan Gilkes 5.08 5 Rory Schlein © 8.08 6 Bastian Borke 4.84 7 2.23 -

Don't British riders (or those riding on British licences) get a 2.5% reduction?
