  1. Plymouth last and Birmingham below Newcastle and Berwick in the playoffs... What you smokin?
  2. Very sorry to everyone for having to post these all individually, but it keeps telling me about maximum file sizes if I try to post more than one together and there seems to be a time limit to what I can post as if I try to post one after another the same message appears, and I have no idea how to get around it. Anyway, here is the next one Hope George turns out to be a real find, or else we may struggle this year...
  3. Not the best start for our 2 Diamonds tonight, hope this isn't a bad omen for the season
  4. I think that would make his entire year if they got put up in the pits haha... Replacing the old pictures of him in his Peterborough kevlars with pictures from tomorrow's P&P in the new team colours etc...
  5. If only this was a real thing, would be great way to get to kids for the sport
  6. My little cousin made these for all the riders. He made a couple when the first few riders were announced and now he's finished them off. What does everyone think? I would love to upload all 7 but apparently there is a maximum file size allowed to be posted. How annoying, even when I try to upload them on separate posts. Here is Bradley's though I think he's done great, it's a Graphic design project he's doing for his GCSEs
  7. Must be Adam Ellis after Plymouth's news about losing a Premiership rider to another Championship team
  8. Wonder if that is the answer to the riding order then? Or if that's just the riding order for this meeting. Matty at 2 is interesting. Looking forward to the first meeting back
  9. Wow I didnt know that. Another set back for the promotion but new pits is never a bad thing, are they laid out the same as the old ones? Looking forward to seeing the new improvements anyone got any idea on the riding order for the new season, I'd personally go. 1. Bradley Wilson Dean 2. Max Clegg 3. James Wright 4. Matty Wethers 5. Paul Starke 6. Lee Complin 7. George Congreve Time to get excited for the new season!!
  10. Has there been some stadium work over the winter like?
  11. Any ideas who the final signing will be and when he'll be announced? Is it going to be Willie?
  12. I'd love to see Matej Zagar back racing in Britain... More than most other riders in the world...
  13. That is the complete opposite of what I'm trying to say... 14/15, they're nearly adults... 8/9 is when all they want to do is run around and play... If your kid does that at the speedway, take them to the park, they clearly don't want to watch the racing!!
  14. We are talking about 14/15 year olds here... Not 8/9.
  15. Should be... Reserving judgement... Hmmm. Have you just given away that it IS Andzejs signing?
  16. Could be worse. At least he's not putting the kevlars back on
  17. Nope, hence why I've gone off the radar recently, until March/April Just come on occasionally to see if any actual interesting news has been announced.
  18. I'm bored with the Poole thread, I'm bored with this thread, all the threads at the time of year between announcements and the start of the season just turn into lots of people arguing with eachother, what's the point, it's how people lose interest
  19. How would that work against Oxford? He'd be riding for Berwick and managing Oxford at the same time? Nothing would surprise me... However I think we've seen the end of Jason's riding consistently days... Was a privilege to see him again for one last season. Even if I did only start watching speedway right near the end for him, I could just tell how big of a legend he was...
  20. This thread just isn't interesting at all. Nothing to do with Poole speedway now, or what their team is going to be, or their plans for 2022. It's just a lot of people bickering and arguing, how boring. I feel sorry for any of the Poole fans who have an actual interest in their club.
  21. I'd personally rather see the next Danny Ayres, Steve Worrall, Craig Cook rather than seeing James Chattin and Ryan MacDonald again (no offence to them lads, but they just haven't cut it with so many opportunities) Fair enough, if the league was bigger, there'd be more space for the likes of James and Ryan. I'm sure if a promotion is willing to put a rider in their NL team on a 3.00, even if they are a ex motocross rider, they'll have had plenty of experience on a speedway bike at the many training days across the country. There are currently a couple riders just from the top of my head I can think of who have just transitioned from road racing and motocross who are based in the midlands of the country. They are older lads (late 20s) but they are very talented at riding fast bikes. They could do a real good job helping our leagues grow into more homegrown riders, which is what we need at the end of the day.
