  1. Is there anywhere where there is an official list of 2023 signings for the Ekstraliga? It's all just messy bits and pieces of news scattered across various Polish websites and there's a lot of missing information? I've tried putting together the lists of who's signed for who so far and it's very confusing and I feel like I'm missing a lot of information on many clubs i.e. is the likes of Krakowiak, Pludra and Lobodzinski staying at GKM? What are the u-24 squads going to be? Cheers
  2. Leszno going from league domination to relegation within a few years? Other than Janusz Kolodziej they're not really worth anything now. Piotr Pawlicki has gone, Jason Doyle has gone, Brady Kurtz isn't coming back. They're pretty screwed. Hasn't David Bellego left also? Just Jaimon Lidsey left and he's not exactly a second heat leader... Grudziadz might have a get out of jail card yet again. Grzegorz Zengota isn't a bad way to start but they need a Jason Doyle replacement badly... is Jaroslaw Hampel definitely back at Lublin?
  3. I'm guessing the u-24 Ekstraliga will run again next year? Hope it's televised a bit more tbh
  4. Speedway ekstraliga website or app... its the official place for the league, very in depth info on every rider in ekstraliga and u24 ekstraliga there
  5. How is Szymon Wozniak or Kacper Woryna lower grade than Jakub Miskowiak Do you watch the ekstraliga results at all?? none of them would even think about racing here anyway
  6. I've been on the wrong end of Luke Muffs dodgy dealings and attitudes a few times, still baffles me that any NL team will trust him and continously give him chances
  7. I'm not bothered about Newcastle tbh, I went because it was one of my closest tracks, I just want to see good racing, no matter who it is... The only team bias I ever have is anti Scunthorpe And I do have a soft spot for a couple of teams (Plymouth and Poole) and the odd rider (Pickering and Basso currently) Even when Newcastle had a team, I wouldn't exactly say I was 100% Newcastle through and through, although obviously they were my favourites...
  8. I'd rather the occasional occurrence of that than fans being dragged from one end of the country to the other just to watch a meeting get cancelled that should've been cancelled at 10am... What situation would be worse to find yourself in, miss a meeting and the sun to come out but at least you've not wasted a tank of fuel in the car, or waste said tank of fuel in the car, arrive at the track and find the meeting cancelled 10 minutes before the tapes were due to go up... Maybe a fine is too harsh, maybe each club gets 3 strikes THEN a fine or something, they need to find ways to keep fans happy, and dragging them out the house, spending pointless money then sending them home isn't going to do that one bit...
  9. All meetings should be called either on or off by 10am on the day of the meeting, and if it's called on and the meeting doesn't go ahead there should be fines handed out, it should be a rule, us fans are getting properly messed about, travelling the length of the country in these expensive times just for this to happen... No wonder the crowd numbers are dwindling... No one can afford to take the risk when the fans are a constant afterthought And I'm not specifically getting at Plymouth here, they're my second favourite team (or favourite now my beloved Diamonds are gone) but this is not the first time and no means be the last time this will happen. I remember travelling all the way down to Eastbourne a few years back just for the meeting to be called 10 minutes before the doors were meant to be opened, despite the awful forecast that hadn't changed all day, luckily I was down that way with the family anyway, but I can imagine anyone who travelled that far just for the meeting are still seething now.
  10. So reading between the lines, he's failed and they're just waiting to dish out a punishment now? Seems to be taking forever either way, but then again everything always does
  11. Is that STILL happening?? When are they gonna make a decision either way... If the man is innocent he better be getting some serious compensation
  12. I completely agree with you, I'm not getting at you. But if you have a negative opinion on anything to do with last night's meeting, as I did, prepare to be shot down. It was the greatest racing ever witnessed on the best track ever laid apparently. Although Thomsen's injury may not be 100% down to the fence, he did go in pretty awkwardly, it was an awful injury and I really do feel for him.
  13. You're a brave man to have a negative opinion on anything, you're just 'on the wind up' clearly...
  14. Sweden isn't much better off than Britain. So where else they gonna ride if all the Swedish clubs fold? Unless Poland starts allowing doubling up more and there's basically 2 ekstraliga leagues
  15. But do you think whoever in his family was getting married were concerned if their wedding clashed with Plymouth fixtures?
  16. I do not take back my comment one bit, the difference between the 2 teams were unacceptable and Kent risked situations like this by building such a top heavy team.
  17. I'm not going to argue, I wasn't aware than the replacement for Jamie had to be an unattached 3.00er which in itself is ridiculous, still plenty of better 3.00ers in the amateur scene than Dean. How can Kent's team be built with 4 riders at a 3 point average anyway, it's ridiculous and this type of team building is what creates such strung out races. But like I said, if you enjoy watching lapped riders and riders who can't beat broken down riders then fine. Enjoy the rest of your season British speedway really has gone down the pan... Tonight we have a very inexperienced u-21 rider (although having a decent season) guesting as a number 3 in the reigning league champions!! It's just a joke and embarrassing and is never going to attract new fans The whole sport needs looking at, to create better racing
  18. Has Rob Grant taken over at Peterborough? Although to be fair to the Panther's management, they haven't sank THAT low with the cr@p they're putting out in the team
