  1. Really hope so Can't wait to come and see the Comets race, it just seems as if every video I've seen so far it's been incredibly dusty...
  2. Please shoot me down if I'm wrong, but watching the videos of Workington. It looks a beautiful set up, big, fast, wide open track... But am I the only one who's worried that it looks like it's going to be another dust bowl...? I am not getting at any of the lads and lasses who have worked extremely hard to get it open, it's just a little concerning that's all... Please tell me I'm wrong if I am and it will be set up differently for race days...
  3. I think Poland, Denmark and Australia (Assuming Doyle riding) will be favourites... 1. Bartosz Zmarzlik 2. Maciej Janowski 3. Dominik Kubera 4. Patryk Dudek/Janusz Kolodziej 5. Szymon Wozniak (Not sure if Artem and Emil are allowed to ride for Poland, and if they did there would be a riot) 1. Leon Madsen 2. Mikkel Michelsen 3. Anders Thomsen 4. Michael Jepsen Jensen 5. Rasmus Jensen/Frederik Jakobsen (Wouldn't surprise me if Nicki picked himself if fit) 1. Jason Doyle 2. Jack Holder 3. Max Fricke 4. Chris Holder 5. Nick Morris/Sam Masters/Rohan Tungate/Justin Sedgmen/Jaimon Lidsey (Lots of options) Just think Britain lack the depth in a 5 man tournament compared to others...
  4. Personally I would go with Steve Worrall instead of Harris or King Although I expect it to be mates rates 1. Tai Woffinden 2. Robert Lambert 3. Dan Bewley 4. Tom Brennan/Adam Ellis 5. Anders Rowe/Drew Kemp
  5. What a great shame He kept showing signs of being world class, but injuries kept getting in the way, best of luck to him.
  6. Id rather see riders like Adam in the national league rather than being disallowed
  7. Well... Looks like that went pear shaped then Why the hell can't KK ride like that every meeting... I used to really like him back in the world number 2 days an all...
  8. Honestly I know there's little tricks I can do to protect my bet, but I'm gambling on winning sort of biggish, and kinda hoping at the same time I lose so I run out of money and I can close my account Maybe it would be a blessing in disguise... I know I can just close it, but I feel as if I need an excuse to, I know it sounds stupid. I always start off just putting a fiver on a night, then a week later it's a tenner and then suddenly I'm losing ridiculous money, perhaps I shouldn't put anything on...
  9. Just put £33 on Kasprzak getting less than 5... That's everything I had on my account, watch him go through the card If he does, I'll have no money left and I'm closing down my account, I've had a few bad streaks in the past with gambling... If he does get below 5 points I'll get £101.94
  10. Hello. Can someone please explain to me, or at least point me in the right direction to find, how the official greensheet averages are claculated? I understand how a Rolling average is calculated I think, but this never seems to be anywhere near what the actual official greensheet average is for a rider, i.e. the one that would appear in the matchday program Cheers
  11. What are you talking about? Did you not read the statement? The club said they were going to be transparent with supporters Clearly there isn't anything else at play here...
  12. If Nicki has officially left the club, will Peterborough be allowed a facility to cover him?
  13. I don't like starting a whole new thread just to ask a question, but I'm not sure where else I would ask this. Does the National League use Rolling Averages? How does it work? Is it the same as the other 2 leagues... Cheers
  14. No fine for Cookie for wiping out a rider then publicly admitting on Twitter that it was intended?
  15. Speedway boxing... Hmmm now that's a sport I can get behind 2 laps, get off round of boxing, 2 laps, get off fight until knock out... I think riders should be allowed to fight after the race, let them get their frustrations out, then shake on it and have a pint after... Learn from hockey
  16. I don't think many people have a problem with the move itself... It's the remarks on Twitter that people have a problem with, petulant child springs to mind... And whether it was or it wasn't, his comments make it sound like he wiped him out on purpose, which if that's the case then it's totally unacceptable.
  17. Regardless of what causes the red mist to come over Craig, the fact that he purposely knocks another rider off (which his tweet all but confirms) is disgusting and he should be fined for such an action, there is no place in the sport for moves like that. Hard racing, yes. Purposely knocking off the opponent because they upset you and you can't handle hard racing against you, absolutely not. Horrible.
  18. Liam Rudden, my apologies if he is not employed by the club, as I thought he was? If not I shall remove my post out of respect, I do like Edinburgh... Now that my Diamonds have gone, I need to find a team to follow, and Edinburgh would be a good contender for that... I can't post a screen shot of Liam's reply, but it's clapping emojis followed by laughing emojis. He should on the other hand be telling his rider to take his childish tweet down.
  19. And to have the Edinburgh management applauding it in reply to his tweet... Not a good look. I love the drama, and the punches etc... But tweets like that just make the rider and the club look stupid. Especially when management of said club agree with it... Craig's always been a bit of a nob anyway, but you need people like that in sport, to create the drama lol... (just please keep it safe)
  20. Has it even been said that he won't be racing Monday or is that just speculation? Where has it come from?
  21. Roy Clarke was annoying at Newcastle and he continues to be annoying at Redcar... I understand some people like him, I get the appeal, but he's not for me... If he could talk about half as much and not over the top of EVERYTHING including trying to talk to your relatives at the meeting (he's really that loud at times) then maybe he would be tolerable, because I do like the way he announces the riders etc... Adds a bit to the meeting... The other annoying thing is the remarks he always made when Newcastle were in town... Does he forget where he first came from? I get having a bit of crack, a bit of local rivalry banter, but by heat 10, when he was telling the same joke over and over again in slightly different form, it got a bit boring tbh... Dunno anything about Scunthorpe's announcer, last time I went was for the Ben Fund in 2020 (only meeting of the year) and before that who knows...
  22. I've taken a little risky bet, one that I don't think I will win but also wouldn't be surprised if I won Ben Basso to win the Danish SGP qualifier meeting thing... (£5) £170 return... Can you imagine? He's a hell of a rider... But Rasmus Jensen, NKI, Klindt etc is there also so it's unlikely... But you never know with Ben... Also got him down for over 7 points (£5) with a £9.something return... So even if he don't win but gets ore than 7 points I'm not out of pocket) Come on Ben!!
