  1. At least we know Dayle is going to be bad... where Kyle should be better... Edinburgh got to hope this Borke is twice as good as Hook, or else they're going to be just as bad...
  2. Personally if I were Berwick I would drop Jye to ensure Starke can come in at reserve (a stint at reserve would do him and the club good imo) and bring in a 5.00er for Jye (Jesper Knudsen?) I would imagine unless this 5.00er took off running then Starke would be back in the main body and they would be at reserve... From the outside looking in, Jye seems to be struggling this year... Something like... 1 Rory Schlein 7.95 2 Jesper Knudsen 5.00 3 Jonas Knudsen 5.00 4 Thomas Jorgensen 7.40 5 Leon Flint 7.26 6 Paul Starke 4.86 7 Connor Coles 2.07
  3. I would imagine Kyle is quite relieved to be dropped, save the embarrassment from continuing...
  4. Now this makes Oxford the favourites for me... Them or Leicester...
  5. Could have ended up in the crowd also... All big stones are meant to be removed.
  6. KK and Laguta in the team would have bankrupt any club, let alone King's Lynn... Brilliant signing
  7. He wouldn't be cheap either... Need to find a rider who's already in the Championship and is available. Marcin Nowak would be a good option if he could take the extra league, he would be great on a big track. Claus Vissing did brilliantly when he last rode in the PL for Swindon.
  8. Plymouth's track couldn't be any easier to get to, great little set up. I'd recommend the front row of the back straight, you can basically reach out and touch the riders, one of the best views in British speedway.
  9. It'll go back to 10 the year after... just because
  10. Rob Godfrey - 'we've got the rider we wanted all along' I thought Nick skorja was first choice
  11. Wouldn't be the only criminal associated with the club if that happened
  12. Think the quality of rider that comes in depends on just how much money Si Kellow got fined... I'm sure the fine will be 'evenly distributed'
  13. I am not going to another speedway meeting in Britain ever again, this is absolutely disgusting and I can't support it. If I want my speedway fix I will go watch the amateur meetings at Scunthorpe or go to Denmark. Absolutely sickening and unless it's changed, the SCB can forget my custom. I hope others follow suit until the SCB pull their heads out of their arse at least. I will keep an eye out for any future NORA events and I can guarantee I will be in attendance.
  14. No matter what the excuses are, he shouldn't have promised things he knew he couldn't deliver on. But do tell, I may eat my words and apologize. All of the above?
  15. Some British fans seem to believe that it's a god given right that all British under 21 riders be in all competitions such as this, no mater how good or bad they are compared to other nations under 21 riders. Who is this Norwegian guy? They say, he must be awful because he's from a country not known for developing speedway riders, must replace him with *insert random British rider who happens to be under the age of 21 here* because clearly all Brits are far superior to everyone else. If they actually took the time to study the under 24 league in Poland, they'd realize just how far the likes of Tom Brennan and Leon Flint need to go to start pushing for places in these types of competitions... I would say on European tracks (Polish tracks) our best hope is actually Anders Rowe, which is why I think it's sensible that the likes of Drew Kemp are chosing to ride Poland over Britain, that is the way to make a name for yourself in the sport these days unfortunately.
  16. This is the type of thing the pig man promised us at Newcastle but failed to actually deliver on... Well done Workington
  17. Doesn't Mountain get a 25% reduction though? Like Brennan and Hume did
  18. Has David James seen Hans Andersen this season? He's been shocking...
  19. I really don't understand all of this hate for Steve? Aye, he might not be going through a good patch at the minute but he's still a hell of a rider on his day, he has experience on all of the tracks, he's the captain and who the hell else are ya gonna bring in on that average who will do better? He's doing good for Wolverhampton and this is probably the lowest his form has been for years in the Championship... He'll come good and start riding like the Steve of last year again I'm sure of it... Poole has an incredibly strong side right the way through the 1-7 so I don't think they should worry too much about his slight lack of form as of late. From his days at Newcastle he was one of the leagues best and I was gutted to see him leave, I would have had him as my number 1 every single time.
  20. So would I... But no higher than at number 2. As I say, I'm not a fan of Kemp, but I understand his decisions
  21. Disappointing, I would have liked to have seen Parnitskiy get a pick, he seems to have a lot about him, although I'm sure he'll have his opportunities eventually Can't really complain about the line up, glad Petr Chlupac got a pick, it would have been insane not to
  22. The cost have have bikes, equipment, tools, kevlars, vans and workshops in both countries? The cost of travel between both countries on a weekly basis? The fact that in Poland he's probably getting more opportunities to practice (on better tracks) between race meetings, probably has a closer relationship with people over there who are willing to help and put more effort into his development? I'm sure there's a multitude of reasons, only Drew himself will know for sure. The main question is why SHOULD he do both, if he doesn't want to and is set up financially? Just because he's British doesn't mean he's tied down to riding in this country... Example, Tai Woffinden and Robert Lambert...
  23. Is Simon Lambert just jealous because he'll never be good enough to ride in Poland? What Drew is doing isn't baffling at all. There's more support, more opportunities to ride, more money, more training, more professional set ups... Riding in Poland is a no brainer if you're good enough. Rather than being sh!t on by the way the sport is run in this country, getting dropped from teams for being too good (too high average) for next to no money etc etc... I'm not a fan of Drew, but I know and respect what his decisions are, I think they're pretty sensible tbh...
  24. Thanks, I never knew when the cut off was... So if someone turns 21 on 31st December, they're too old, but if they turn 21 on 1st January they're good?
