  1. Ah yes 2010... When Tate was 5, Sam was 4, Celina was 9 and Antti was 11. Plenty of youth in the team Not a fan of Craig or Troy... Could both go either way but hopefully they can keep focused... Wide open track like that should suit them both, hope it's slick
  2. Cook Cook and brennan = mpt, Allen, lambert... give your head a shake
  3. I've only seen Celina ride once in the under 24 Ekstraliga and she was miles off the pace. However it's a much tougher league than the Championship and that was at the beginning of last season, she may have progressed since I'm guessing. Although Tate and Antti (Antti in particular) scored VERY well in that league so it's hard to say. I just hope that the second someone fairly criticizes her it's not labelled as sexist just because she's a girl and she's treated as any other rider would be (under performance = the boot). I can see there being lots of drama on upcoming Workington threads lol The signing I'm most excited by is Antti Vuolas.
  4. Rene and Claus both fit... What a team that would be 1. Craig Cook 8.53 2. Tate Zischke 5.00 3. Antti Vuolas 5.00 4. Claus Vissing 6.24 5. Rene Bach 7.19 6. Celina Liebmann 4.00 7. Sam McGurk 2.00 Total: 37.96
  5. The people who are going to pay money to go and watch? It's a fine balance between development and not losing a shed load of money...
  6. He's signed for Sheffield hasn't he? And Grudziadz
  7. Borke would be a good signing at reserve? But from the rumours on here he's going to Berwick anyway. Clegg and Roynon wouldn't be that bad either. Not so sure on Nielsen, MacDonald or Proctor though... Especially the latter
  8. Glad Luke signed for Leicester. I assume with 3.33 left that the final rider will be William Cairns (When does he turn 15?) I can't tell if I like this team or not... It has the potential to be unstoppable or weak at the top end... I can't tell. Either way it doesn't matter too much because there's plenty of young riders to develop there, which is what this league is all about. 1. Joe Thompson 2. Vinnie Foord 3. Max James 4. Arran Butcher 5. Tom Spencer 6. Luke Crang 7. William Cairns
  9. Would love to see Rene Bach back in Britain... what would that leave for the final 2 riders. 1. Craig Cook 2. Tate Zischke 3. Antti Vuolas 4. 5. Rene Bach 6. 7. Sam McGurk
  10. Doesn't fit at berwick anymore... 4.21 for the number 6 assuming a 2.00er is at 7
  11. That's a relief... hopefully it's edinburgh
  12. I don't have any insider knowledge whatsoever. Just who I'd go with personally. Hope he gets signed up somewhere though... got a very attractive average imo
  13. I'd go with Luke Crang any day of the week... adds a little experience and would expect him to be back in the top 5 after. A few months... 1. Danny Phillips 2. Archie Freeman 3. Elliot Kelly 4. Jamie Halder 5. Ben Trigger 6. Luke Crang 7. Ben Rathbone Very balanced team with a powerful 1/2 with Archie coming back from injury. Expect Crang to end up at 3 or 4 with Jamie or Elliot at reserve. I'm looking forward to making the trip across to see them.
  14. Imagine giving up a paradise life in New Zealand to come race for Edinburgh
  15. Sounds interesting I genuinely hope it comes off for Edinburgh if it's going to be a good one, they deserve a good year next season, always nice to see the Scottish teams doing well
  16. Poole reserves NDL averages: Sam Hagon 8.24 Max Perry 7.75 Glasgow reserves NDL averages: Lee Complin 7.46 Ace Pijper 5.81 Yet Poole are the one with the weak reserves?? I like Glasgow a lot, but...
  17. I know that all too well I do have a big soft spot for Plymouth, so I'm pretty sad to see the team they're putting together, it's just not going to be good enough, but I guess they're making the most of what they have. 1. 8.21 Left 2. Dan Thompson 4.86 3. Alfie Bowtell 4.49 4. Kyle Newman 5.51 5. Ben Barker 7.42 6. Jacob Hook 4.00 7. Joe Thompson 3.51 Positives: good reserves compared to the rest of the league, if the likes of Alfie and the Thompsons kick on in a weaker league, will have a good middle order Negatives: No top end power whatsoever (other than Barker at home) Hope Plymouth can find a 15 point man on a 8.21 average...
  18. The last time he rode in the second tier was with Somerset in 2019 where he finished with a 7.82 average. I've lost all touch with the rules of British speedway (much like the organisers it seems) so I'm unsure if he'd be due a reduction for being out for multiple seasons or not?
  19. I know that. Nico is one of my favourite riders of all time. But from what I'm aware, he's got a really good job and life in Italy and only races there now and wouldn't consider a return elsewhere. Or that is what I last heard a few years ago.
  20. I would love that, but will he ever actually ride outside of Italy again?
  21. Team getting announced tonight? Any surprises or are all the rumours true? Are the Colts being announced tonight also?
