I would think if are moving up Anders would have been the rising star. In the local echo it did say Poole are set to run in the championship a few days back
-
Agree it's almost too low this points limit as it's going to become a money game. Which team is willing to pay more to get the bargain 5avg riders to come over from abroad. I'd rather have Anders the local lad over any new upcoming pole. But a silly points limit rules out Anders returning
-
Both have had numerous stints at Poole, successful ones too, both have low averages and are capable of more. Team building is about building a team with riders who can add more to there average.

Lawson Hume Zach Jack Thomas Ben Stefan Nielsen (was keen to come back a few years ago and did a great job(riding at 4) till injury Sam Hagon = exactly 38
-
Lawson 8.48 Rowe 5.8 Zach 6.22 Tate(if a 4) or Starke 4 Ben 7.39 Joe Thomspon 3.51 Sam Hagon 2.56 =37.96

With Ben and Zach if you look at the races they rode together last year they were fantastic. A lot of 5-1s and some were in huge pressure situations. They certainly bring the best out of each other when at the tapes together. There are only a few team's that have a better 3rd heatleader than Ben Cook but im not sure there are any teams with a better 4 than Zach. In a weaker league than it was last year both will put a point on there average if injury free. Don't forget Ben Cook was riding like a number 1 come the end of the season, home and away he was top top class when the business end of the season came

Would love for us to have at least one of Rew or Zischke in the team, both seem ever exciting. Both consistently doing well during our off season and should be 100% ready for the start of our season. Now I think Zischke will be be similar to Ben in his first season with us where he quickly got dialed in at home and was patchy away, now if we can pair him with a reserve who can be a consistent point scorer home and away that should be a good pairing. Then it's all about who we pair Ben with at 3 and 4

Have we decided that no new Aussies will be at Poole?
-
Sorry I should have been more clear. I meant that team is only decent Whereas poole build better than decent teams
-
I agree. Smart signing on a 4.29
-
Kyle Newman?
-
Although I like Ruml I put him in the same category as Kemp, both solid riders and won't have their average drop but can't see either raising it either. With the first 7 I like the first 5. Gives you 8 points for 2 riders. So could go 2× 4pointers or a 5 and 3. I guess that's where Rew and Tate come into play
-
I agree that they are decent, but nothing more than that. And I can't remember the last time Poole built a decent team. I think our team will be stronger

Not stealing the better one of us!

Young Aussie doing well in Poland, seems to be UK bound -
So whats this Jack Thomas like, people seem to think he's Poole bound, but he's one of the few riders I cant say I've seen much of
-
Is Rew the unrealistic part? I would think if we want Tate then there's nothing stopping us. Other than Visa issues
-
Well on their averages both are an excellent start to building a top championship side
-
Dream 1-7 would include Rew? Or maybe a rider who simply isn't sure whether at will fit their Schedule at this moment in time. Or just classic Visa trouble. Would think the difficult conversations would include Kemp and Worrall or king. I'm sure Ablitt will be back unless he's decided to go against having a 2point reserve. Either way hopefully the pieces can fall into place soon!
-
King 8.05 Lawson 7.97 B Cook 6.09 Z Cook 4.92 Tate 4? Rew 5? J Edwards 3.80 =39.83
-
Yeah would not mind seeing Kyle back as a pirate. Always puts in a shift round Poole and certainly could put his average up
-
I would think with Tate it would still be potentially too much of a risk to pair him with Ablitt down at reserve? But maybe that's a risk we are willing to take. Keynan Rew on a 5avg seems a no brainer and will have team's from both leagues after him im sure.
-
Yeah he's certainly earned his average this season. But he's in the awkward position where you're not sure if he will up it or lower it. What he does need is stability and a track he loves and will be riding on it every week
-
You're right on that. But based on an entertainment factor in my opinion I would rather pay money to watch Danny King as he is one of the most exciting riders in the league! So having King and Worrall on the same average next season I would be picking King for my team!
-
Don't see any logic in keeping Worrall over King, King has been an excellent captain last couple of years and a much more entertaining rider to watch.
