Thank you for that. Makes very interesting reading!

I'd have Zagar out of them. I know he's past his best but he'd clean up in such a watered down league. Imagine us having a Fricke Zagar Kurtz Wright spearhead?

UPDATE - NOW SOLD. got 1 spare ticket for Saturday and 1 for Sunday, adult, standing South Stand. Just looking for face value of £40 for the pair. -
He does indeed! It will be interesting to see who gets the nod.

Lambert goes really well round the NSS.

This is going to be fascinating. With no Janowski, the Poles are not clear favourites. Any pair from Zmarzlik/Dudek, Woffinden/Lambert, Lindback/Lindgren, Sayfutdinov/Laguta, Madsen/Iversen or Fricke/Doyle can win this with Smolinski/Huckenbeck as spoilers. I can't wait!

I think this is a really bad idea. Any underperforming rider will be safe in the knowledge that he doesn't have to up his game, his place is secure. In other sports there are reserves champing at the bit, waiting for their big chance. Speedway isn't like that. There's seven and that's it. By this rule, my beloved Aces would have been stuck with for example Filip Sitera or Ricky Wells and not been able to replace him while he takes the piss and tootles round.
-
I'm exited by the way the team is shaping up. Would love to have Charles Wright confirmed. If everything falls into place we'll have either Jaimon or Stevie at reserve throughout the season. It's a big move and a big season for Brady Kurtz. I think he'll kick on and be as good as Max and be the next Aussie superstar. Under Lemo's guidance and having a home track that was made for racers like him, Brady will step up I'm sure. Got to be an improvement on the last Brady to inhabit Gorton!

With Dudek qualifying, that will probably exclude a fourth Pole and with Thomsen not qualifying, that opens the door for Michelsen for me, so I think the four wild cards will be Hancock, Laguta, Michelsen and Woffinden.

Thanks very much, Racers and Royals! Very much appreciated.

Neither of those links are working!

Thank you so much!

I don't suppose anyone could be so kind as to post a link, could they?
-
I know this was a dire GP but I'm so pleased to have been able to see it through the kindness of members who sent me a link. I am on a very low wage and cannot afford a BT Sport subscription but I'm dedicated to speedway and am very grateful to have been sent a link so I could see Zmarzlik move into... ahem... pole position tonight.

Thanks, got it!

Sorry, new to the forum. How do I access my messages?

Anyone got a live link please?

Delighted to see Dan break the track record today. Times are usually nowhere near so I wondered if I would ever see NKI's time bettered but Dan showed us all today that he's still on course to be a major force. Well done, the boy!
