If Sheffield have no dates available does that mean the 5th placed team qualifies for the play offs?

There’s no facility available for Ryan Douglas or Steve Worrall though who are simply on holiday. Surely "no facility " should mean just that. blanks on team sheet.... As for simply on holiday.... how many fans will do the same...

After last night's "outcome" and last year with Ben Barker, we only ever hear about tests when a rider "fails" Apart from these 2 random tests I as wondering how many other drug tests are carried out each year? Could be random 2 riders every meeting? Or maybe track gets visited once a month? Or maybe just once a year? Like I said we have heard now of 2 tests and 2 failures, maybe they not random after all?

Just posing the question.... like I said devil's advocate. 1998 is a long time since a Witches team won anything of any note.... Sport is about winning, not taking part. If you have no chance of winning.... why take part? With possibly no Wolves, Peterborough or King's Lynn in 2024, Will there be speedway in its current form in 2024 anyway? Whole sport needs a massive shake up but people just accepting "something is better than nothing" is doing more harm than good. Wouldnt keep going to your local pub if they served warm beer at £10 a pint just to keep it open.... Or your local chip shop when they serve frozen fish and chips for £10 just so it doesn't close....

The performance last night was done to one thing.... the track prep. That was a Foxhall track and you could see how the riders enjoyed it. Long may that surface / prep continue. If it does we will be there or there abouts come end of season.
