A lot of comments lately suggesting that people who attend meetings should do just that .... turn up and accept what goes on. Whether that be riders scores, entertainment(lack of) or track conditions. "If you could do better then why don't you try?" Is another phrase thrown about. Well i think that others "moaners" and myself have enough experience of speedway to known what's right and wrong. We have accepted it for long enough and is at breaking point. Another is "Oh well I'll go on Saturday as there isn't anymore for 6 months" but it's not going to be any diff... Surprised no one has mentioned " you should go because if you don't then the club will fold" Think the real problem are these "lemmings" that hand over their monies regardless of the conditions. Make the people running the sport do something for the sport and give the fans something to attend for....

Hand over the readmission ticket (green) and £20. You then get a diff colour ticket to normal eg yellow ticket. The you get in free on Saturday. Simple and easy to do.

If the result is not a good one on Thursday I can't see too many there on Saturday.... A deal for both meetings is a great idea though...

I blame the fans... what do they know about running the sport if they never tried before...

Imo Meeting should have never started with the forecast what it was but both teams needed the points so was always going to be started. Constant rain from the 1st heat ( which the 2 mins came on at 19.39) conditions very much like that rain infested Hackney GP. The least experienced rider tonight looked far from it with sublime throttle control and track craft. Putting the bike where he wanted it to go and never just going along for the ride with a switch for a throttle unlike some of the current crop of riders...

wonder if he will honour his bet though?

Having a 2 pointer at no 1 means another 6 riders with 2 point averages for the other 6 places.....these people wouldn't make a good team manager!

It's not as though a mechanic will travel home and away though All the time. There are a few local to the Ipswich area that are on hand to help whoever is in need. Danny King has been helping Garcia at away matches. Campton has been to Foxhall this year with a fellow rider helping him. Heeps and Jacobs used to help each other in the early days.. as I'm sure others do. Is Gino really just a black sheep?
