Bring back the old format. Bottom 7 in SGP goto challenge with 9 new faces. Then the top 5 or 6 from this meeting qualify with the others made up from wildcards... but wildcards used due to injuries or genuine bad luck from the challenge. This then means that the riders in the top 5 or 6 are better( all be it on a one off meeting) than the ones they replacing. Look at this year's challenge .. Doyle Vaculik Lambert at top. Which they should be... but if a Wozniak qualifies he does it by being better than 1 of current sgp line up. Andy Smith kept getting in the SGP through the challenge by being better than a newbie...

Of course it should and would be in a real sporting event. But as we all know speedway isn't....when riders cba to ride in the British Final , what hope to race in a league meeting....

Anyone not able to find the speedway on the Discovery App... thing I do is search for where the meeting being held. Eg Riga. Then goto sports when the search has finished. Last night gave the gp and son2 aswell as the pitcams

Best wishes to Dan Thompson after dislocating a shoulder in his heat 2 fall. Was nice to see Jason Doyle coming to check on his injured team mate. Doyle also trying to team ride Hume in another race was encouraging too.

Track was fine... had to be ridden with your head...something someone with a throttle that only has 2 positions will find hard to do... track records don't get smashed on a bad track.

A reserve can ride in 17 -20 more than once though, whereby no tacticals allowed in those heats . So that has to be an advantage.

I take it a tacsub cannot be used in 17-20, otherwise why didn't the German's bring in Wolbert? A reserve is allowed though like the Czechs did with Milik. If that's the case best rider has to be at reserve for the final
