Slow start... but then on pace with a win and 2 seconds. Had made gate in his final heat when he lifted and wenr across other 3 riders... locked up and was hit by Emil.

He did.... as did KP of Ipswich. But riding on the smaller UK tracks is a different thing.

Good meeting.... Artem Laguta has a broken collarbone after being unable to avoid Rafał Karczmarz. The other 2 Russians nearly had a repeat as this time Greg locked up in front of Emil but both were up and ok. Pawlicki looked quick all meeting and beat Zmarzlik in the final.

Just been involved in a crash... up now and walking back to pits. Don't think much of his brand new suit... couple of holes in it now where he slid along the ground.

In 1998 teams wore suits over their kevlars... couldnt they do the same. Ipswich and Coventry had their own kevlars though, think other teams did too. If a guest was needed then they wore the spandex onesie!

Not as though this happened overnight.... been rumbling for a while. The rider rides for a club that have their own sponsors and these need to be at the forefront. Then comes personal sponsors. If it were an individual meeting then that's different. Well done to the current promotion for sticking to their principles. The other riders seem fine with it, it's just Cook that has an issue. Just means that none of his sponsors will get any "airtime" now, they can't be best pleased with the decesion made by the rider. I certainly wouldn't be if I was a company sponsoring a rider on the understanding that my company would be given exposure on tv and other media.

Rider 4 still gets 4 rides.... both reserves only have 3 programmed rides now
