We won't know that "Rider A" or "Rider B" fitted perfectly into the points limit but "A" wanted £300 a point and £2000 start money. Whereas "B" will never ride for the club again after past issues. We won't know that "Rider C" could only do half a season We won't know that "Rider D" has a lower average but fits into the team as is well liked by the club and gets on well with his team mates. What we will know is that 7 riders have eventually been selected to be a 2020 Witch for the right reasons for the club.

But who is available on a 4 ave.... apart from a newcomer?

Coventry, Oxford, Rye House , Lakeside, Reading, Bradford Good luck to the Diamonds for 2020. Can't afford another team lost to the History books.

Nothing stopping a team from signing any rider to ride in just 1 match and then use guests afterwards up to the departed riders ave.....

Chris Harris was signed as a number 1 but ended up being a number 2..... Ipswich are after a rider that could ride at number 1 as have just shy of 8 points remaining. However it may be that he has a lower ave so to put Klindt (when announced) at 1 for the start of the season. E.g. if KK was signed he would technically be our new no 1... but has a lower ave than Klindt. If Zager was signed then he would be new no 1 AND ride at 1.

Who says they havent tried? Zmarlzik, Dudek, Janowksi, Emil, Laguta x2. All based in Poland but why would any of these ride for £3k in this country with all the hassle it brings to them? Same goes for Hancock and Woffinden These SGP stars would want £3k to just get out of bed and turn up... then add in points money etc. I'm led to believe an Ex Ipswich no 1 from the last time the Witches were in the top league was on £3k back then.... A "Top" rider will only return to ride in our league if it suits them... e.g. Nicki Pedersen Iversen , Zager, Lindgren and Lindback are the next hopefuls. And after the SGP boys it's the likes of Jepsen Jensen, Milik, Smolinski and are they really what we are looking for? I hope the allure of the Sponsors money does hook not only a top rider but a top racer afterall it's what we have been used to over the years... maybe Smektala, Kubera or Drabik could be tempted but are they really what we need at no 1 and certainly not what Chris Louis has said he wants....

So the first signing will depend on how many they want to get rid of before Xmas.... announce returning 2019 Witches and be just the ones who would have bought anyways.. But if they want to make an impact then it's Fu kin Noone or his Polish / Aussie / Danish mate.... Let's see tomorrow. Transferable is great... be even better if a book system like Swindon. But just says league and supporters cup matches.... how many would that be.... League 12 matches...Cup 2 possibly 3 dependingon groups.
