  1. So the full side to be announced next week now then......
  2. Shields to win, and any of the rest in the Witches 1-7 for next year.......
  3. Usual suspects i see, only Watt, Shields, Klymakorpi, Batchelor and Schlein have higher averages. Would liked to have seen the PLRC winner being given an invite.
  4. Don't know if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but this is in todays paper...... http://www.lovespeedway24.co.uk/home/gollob_s_off_track_heartache_revealed_1_657251
  5. Try resetting your box, switch off at wall and leave for a couple of mins, may do the trick..... finally got my red button to work last night by resetting Karl
  6. i'm on ss2, the tennis and the red button keeps flashing up with speedway, but does nothing! anyone else having problems?
  7. says speedway and has the red button, but does nothing......
  8. You have summed the night up perfectly! Some riders couldn't be ar$ed to turn up, whilst others did show but couldn't be ar$ed to race. The "racing" tonight was more strung out than an EL match, but more down to the uneven match ups rather than anything else. As for the Witches performance, tonight was the real Witches of 2010, not the one seen on Sky a couple of weeks ago. As for the presentation, that was "normal" too, shocking! race results wrong on several occasions, riders having mistaken identities and only 1 rider interview all night! Super Sevens, more like stupid sevens!

  10. Thing is though, how early will the public know who is NOT going to be there!?
  11. I had the SWC on series link and it says its been recorded today at 5pm on ss4 but nothing in planner! now can't change channel without cancelling a recording! anyone know if it was on at 5pm? Karl
  12. From what Scott Nicholls says in his newspaper column, there nearly wasn't a GB team this year.....
  13. 3 links have now dissapeared. looks like no streams for tonights matches.....
  14. Just seen the accident again, Swidders seems to be very lucky, down very hard on both arms and bike came so close to landing on him. Hope he is back on his bike soon
  15. Taken from BSPA website: ON Thursday April 29th (start time 19.45) Ipswich Speedway are proud to be staging the Billy Sanders Memorial Trophy (sponsored by the Evening Star) to mark the 25th anniversary of Billy Sanders’ tragic passing. To honour Billy’s memory, the meeting will take the form of a Best Pairs event with 3 pairs of Australian riders and 3 British pairs competing for the title, featuring some of the most exciting riders in the Sky Sports Elite League and the best young riders from both continents. The bulk of both the Aussie and GB Lions national sides will be on track and fans are guaranteed an evening of no holds barred excitement. There will be a special ‘Tribute to Billy Sanders’ program for the event and a host of Billy’s contemporaries – Tony ‘Shrimp’ Davey, Colin Cooke, Mick Lanham, Preben Eriksen and Kevin Jolly to name a few – will be invited to the meeting and will be available to chat to fans during the course of the evening. Billy Sanders Memorial Trophy (Foxhall Stadium, Thursday April 29th, start 19.45) 1. Scott Nicholls & Olly Allen (GB) 2. AN Other & Ty Proctor (Australia) 3. Eddie Kennett & Ben Barker (GB) 4. Rory Schlein & Davey Watt (Australia) 5. Tai Woffinden & Danny King (GB) 6. Troy Batchelor & Darcy Ward (Australia) Looks good line up thoughts anyone?
  16. Any more news? Not like the promotion to keep us fans in the dark about stuff is it!!
  17. Just in from Foxhall, not that cold really! And one of the better events tbh. Hope Rory is ok, didn't see what happened to him personally, just saw him on the track. Allen was leading the final and going into 1st bend, spun round and fell, Miskowiak was very lucky not to hit him, but did clip his bike, which made him lift and headed to the 2nd bend fence. How he stayed on, i dont know, but he did. I then turned back to the 2nd bend, only to see 4 riders on the track, Allen, Schlein, Sundstrom and Batchelor. All but 1 got up and walked back to pits, that being Rory, he was into ambulance and taken to hospital "in pain". Thats all what was said.... In the rerun Shields gated ahead of Miskowiak and lead until final bend. Robert dived under him and Troy followed him through aswell. Meaning Robert won the meeting, with Troy 2nd, Adam 3rd. Karl
  18. weather is fine, has been raining since monday, but now ok. if a little chilly, but expect Foxhall to be VERY cold later
  19. Can't add much more tbh. meeting had the makings of something good but didn't match up, for whatever reason. seemed a lack of effort from team GB side, Bridger "breaking down" summed it up. Mike Bacon's blog in the local paper also sums it up nicely.....
  20. Shocking meeting, worst i've probably been to! No effort to entertain the over-paying public, and Tobi Kroner is taken to hospital which collarbone injury. What was the point of a pairs meeting, only one "5-1",better racing in the 2 "junior" races afterwards.
