  1. I've got the PL 4TT from Peterborough and tbh that wasn't that great either. Too many races that are shown from different angles that keep switching every bend. Whats wrong with just 1 camera showing the action(of all 4 riders) and then other cameras used after to show replays?
  2. That was shocking, Sheffield didn't have much luck losing Allen in heat 1, (after a coming together with Compton) and then Lambert sliding off and not riding again.... but apparently the Tigers were sharing bikes! That meant that with Lambert and his bike now out of the meeting we had to put up with only 1 Tiger in 5 heats! Wells as expected did well looked fast early on, had a couple of good races with Tungate but suffered a bike problem in 15 when in third. Maassen was dire, it was muted that he had good equipment, well where was it? Albin did ok on first visit to Foxhall, beat Lykke 3 times, beat Maassen and then had no team mate twice. Compton got stuck in, his bike did half the heats by the looks of it! So after a bit dodgy start the Witches easily won, only crazy thing was no Witch went unbeaten, Heeps looked over his injury and Ellis was making good starts and first corners, possibly highest score in PL so far in career? (paid 12)
  3. Rode for Glasgow on 27th June, scored 6 from 5, inc heat 14 win.
  4. Sun is now out, not a cloud in the sky so should bring a decent(ish) crowd, kids in free is continued for today too. Up the witches Ps don't forget Hawkins is injured for tonights meeting too, not just Edinburgh.....
  5. Ashley Birks goes well at Edinburgh, scored 12+1 from 6 there earlier this year. Somerset, Berwick, Newcastle and Plymouth are all riding that night(Coventry and Kings Lynn in EL). This basically leaves the following...... Richard Lawson 8.42 (8-0-5) Rene Bach 7.96 (3-0-4) Magnus Karlsson 7.79 (5-0-4) Micky Dyer 7.58 (8-0-4) Josh Auty 7.57 (6-0-5) Ricky Wells 7.43 n/a Ashley Birks 7.16 (12-1-6) Nikolai Klindt 7.07 n/a Who would be better? Looks like the Witches may have done some homework.....(2013 scores in brackets)
  6. Allen and Wells are probably going to score halve of the Tigers points! Thats unless debutants Albin and Maassen can find a quick way round Foxhall.
  7. Hawkins at Edinburgh is shocking. Bit like James Wright at Foxhall! Will be missed at Foxhall but should have enough to cover. Just hope Cameron Heeps and him are fit for the play offs.
  8. think we should pick horses for courses but can see the idea behind keeping a settled side.
  9. Your other side wouldnt fit with this years limit....
  10. copy and paste.... Thats just the list of riders that have suitable aves Baldyman
  11. Bigger Anorak moment..... Richie Worrall 8.7 Nick Morris 8.63 Mikkel Bech 8.57 Olly Allen 8.46 Richard Lawson 8.42 Rene Bach 7.96 Josh Grajczonek 7.93 Theo Pijper 7.89 Magnus Karlsson 7.79 Sebastien Alden 7.68 Micky Dyer 7.58 Josh Auty 7.57 Lasse Bjerre 7.46 Ricky Wells 7.43 Ludvig Lindgren 7.39 Andrew Tully 7.39 Kozza Smith 7.36 Christian Henry 7.33 Alex Davies 7.33 Ashley Birks 7.16 Aaron Summers 7.14 Claus Vissing 7.07 Nikolai Klindt 7.07 Or from the EL Thomas Jonasson 9.28 Robert Miskowiak 9.15 Kevin Wolbert 9.03 Magnus Zetterstrom 8.82 Norbert Kosciuch 8.63 Mikkel Michelsen 8.33 Kim Nilsson 8.30 Simon Gustafsson 8.10 Timo Lahti 7.77
  12. In the current PL setup, Lanham, Heeps and Ellis are on "nice" aves. Hawkins too but has other fires to fight! Barker, like many Doublers is too good for the PL. Risager blows hot and cold(new Bobby M) and Tungate is having a tough 2nd year. Should really be scoring double figures and averaging well over 8 at PL level. Klindt, Jorgensen, Davies and Stefan Nielsen all go well round Foxhall. Lambert would be a steal on a 3 but who wouldn't him? If a 3 pointer is needed, personally every PL should have one at number 7, eg the Polish format and if using 2 Brits let them stay at reserve all year. Then Bates, or Kerr fits the bill.
  13. Cheers Badge, At least being replaced with 2 Brits..... So Nielsen scores a 15 paid max on 14th and 2 weeks later is dropped, how bizarre!
  14. Knowing that they would both be missing, maybe the teams have agreed to using RR? Would make sense......
  15. Looking very good for the Witches at the moment, one or 2 concerns but can carry a passenger at present. With 3 home fixtures left (and hopefully 9 points) and Somerset away looks like we should finish 2nd (with Somerset 1st)
  16. Liked the old challenge where riders 9-15 were with the "best" from that season. Tonight shows that KK, Niels, Bjerre, Harris are the best of the rest at GP level. Can have a good night and be up there but also just as likely to score 4's and 5's....
  17. Harris to get wild card as not allowed a run off with Smolinksi, only fair isn't it?
  18. Depends how many bikes the Somerset riders have in the pits and the income they are getting Also wonder if Risagers bikes will be quick enough for Doyle tonight aswell?
  19. Could we not ride fri or sat 30/31st? No Spedeworth meetings so maybe a possibility? Ps thats the 2nd postponement vs Plymouth this season!
  20. Where's Aljack when you need him? Think we all knew what the decesion was going to be, but to be continually told its on and the tracks fine is the most annoying thing! Its the last week of school hols, last time that many kids will be going and for them to be let down at the last minute is hard to take as they have been looking forward to it all day. http://www.ipswichwitches.co has no updates on it. Facebook page has a few disgruntled fans though! If there is any reply from the "Witches" it will just be: "Blah blah blah, not our fault it was the weather, that last mm put us over the edge!"
