  1. Is it confirmed that Adam Ellis is out for the season? One of these then - Liam Carr 6.97 Rob Branford 8.53 (injured)? Adam McKinna 6.04 Ben Morley 6.81 Lewis Kerr 8.00 Max Clegg 7.83 Oliver Greenwood 6.86 Josh Bates 7.55 Daniel Halsey 7.17 Ben Reade 7.70 Tom Young 7.04 Stefan Nielsen is on the list but doesn't say he cannot guest, Also why couldn't Robert Lambert guest? (age)?
  2. Track rode well, Barker slid off probably due to conditions, but Ellis and Kerr's crashes would probably happened any night. All up and alright though. Bit of a strange night though, who would have thought 1) Worrall outscore Barker but only scored 7 and 5. 2) Newcastle reserves would outscore Witches reserves. And the Witches still take a 12 point lead. Heeps given MoM but could have quite easily gone to Risager or Tungate. Witches: Barker - Worst Witches home score but superb ride in heat 13 with Worrall. Heeps - Solid night, couple of great first corners to take the lead. Tungate - Shocking 2nd ride but fine after that Lanham - Used head to outfox others in first turns, Good night Risager - Great 2 wins but then poor gate in third heat. heat 13 ride with Barker could be match winner. Ellis - night to forget, bike down on power? Hawkins - Another to use experience to score vital points Diamonds: Worrall - Great race with Barker in 13 but dissapointing R/R - Robson should have scored more than 5+2 Tully - Night to forget, 1st bike had problems, 2nd? not quick Lindgren - Top scored, got better as night went on Rosen - Great debut on tricky track, very fast bikes. Schramm - won heat 2....... Kerr- Gating was great but some strange 1st corners let others past. in 5 of 1st 8 heats.... 12 points should mean an interesting return leg, Diamonds fans on back straight certainly think its theirs......
  3. Ipswich Witches ‏@ipswichspeedway9m Of course the meeting is going ahead! Everything's perfect! Need a big crowd tonight to get behind our boys! #WitchesPride
  4. In town centre .its just about stopped, no office bods walking under umbrellas anyway! and been like that for about 20 mins . Brightening up too,, but still not leaving mine until 7.
  5. Just got in from school run, not that bad tbh, light drizzle, but constant. should ease up and dissapear by 5ish (well thats what metoffice says). No more rain after that, so would have thought that the track will be left and sorted once rain goes. Up the Witches!
  6. Think the lineups are for the original staging and not been updated yet....
  7. No Doyle or Barker - r/r for both No Morris - Mellgren guests No Rose - Ritchings guests
  8. Saw this tonight and have to admit....... i missed Nigel and Kelvin! and whats with having 10 camera view changes for the 1st race? gave up counting for the rest
  9. Track seemed a bit tricky early on, moisture coming through it maybe? Thing is we are a bit sluggish but still doing enough to get the 3 points. Possibly put Heeps at 4 and Lanham at 2. Heeps was unlucky not to get 15 but long space between races when at 2.
  10. Cook was superb tonight, great first bends and very quick (equalled track record). However............. Going into heat 15 the Monarchs needed a heat advantage to claim a point, So does his personal glory of scoring an 18 point max matter when his team could have scored a point which possibly could lead to 2nd place in league? Witches now 4 points above them. Witches had pick of gates, choose 1 (Tungate) and 3 (Barker), quite rightly as gate 4 is shockingly bad (2 race winners all night inc Cook). But what happens? Cook off 2, Tabaka off 4. Surely Tabaka should have been given the chance to win and Cook then claim a third. Cook gates and clears off, Barker and Tungate then look for each other off the 2nd bend and team ride (Hancockesque) for the 4 laps keeping Tabaka behind but not that far behind. Cook celebrates his max, Witches celebrate the 3 points. Any questions?
  11. Yeah not a bad day is it, quite warm whilst cutting my grass i see Cook has asked for a warm reception on twitter.....
  12. Yeah nothing should happen . Apart from a few more on the gates. And maybe a better atmosphere at both meetings .good luck to all the riders. Hoping the witches can bring home some points.
  13. Plus the chance to fight it out once again with Edinburgh's big hitter Craig Cook.......
  14. He's back! starting at Edinburgh tomorrow........ Right in time to meet Craig Cook!
  15. Happy to help, know you have a job that doesn't evolve a calculator.! That's a 2.46 ave :-)
  16. Said last night that Allen pulled out due to a bang on the head? But is riding tonight, thought there was a waiting period for head injuries?
  17. A rider on an assessed average should keep it until they have met that mark. Wouldn't that be fairer to all ?
  18. Yeah forgot to say , fair play to the Tigers fans that were there tonight. fortunately its not always like that at Foxhall!
