  1. It's not the £15 or £16 that is the problem, it's having to pay £4 or £5 for kids, when they would much rather have the money for something else given the choice.
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MMMUP_HHNc final (from 4th bend) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LaXVPjO8IA rerun ( from 2nd bend) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsbxeiXKHp4 rerun (from 4th bend)
  3. The final and rerun are on youtube, but can't find the runoff
  4. What i don't understand is how Doyle can put himself in exactly the same position as what Campton and Masters found themselves in last year. Riders would have known the situation but in Doyle's (and possibly a few others) case let it happen to them. so looks bleak for him IMO
  5. Fear not, the witches have Leigh Lanham waiting in the wings if Tungate has messed up! 😊
  6. Think its more to do that you have to get the visa sorted before you leave the country......
  7. As long as the list was published and all promoters knew he was a 4 it was up to them to sign Milik on a "bargain" ave, so Well done to Poole for getting Milik to sign. Whether its right on wrong, that was his assessed figure and there for all to see.
  8. Somerset through their press release have confirmed his ave has been changed due to riding in the Danish league. Thing is its not been changed to the right figure... yet so don't think this is the end of it.
  9. Could he not sign for Sheffield and ride in away matches and use rr at home.. ......
  10. So Sheffield can now sign vaculik on a 8, precedent been set ....... :-) Maybe Somerset knew what would happen, but at least got 2 points off his ave.
  11. Me too, i asked how they could justify charging £24 for a 2 kids to get into speedway. (can't go on their own can they ) Also why does it cost less for a child to watch the football at Portman Road than to watch speedway at Foxhall? But yeah no reply either. interested to hear the other day that a Premier League football club had a season ticket scheme that worked out at £2 a game which was refunded to the child each time they attended! Brilliant idea
  12. Great news that Peterborough will be in the PL in 2014 and even better for their supporters are their admission prices. Adults £15 (£1 cheaper than Ipswich) Concessions £10 (£3 cheaper than Ipswich) Children (12-16) £5 (£1 more than Ipswich) Under-12s Free (£4 cheaper than Ipswich) If only the Witches promotion would take note
  13. Already signed for Rybnik in Poland so would rule out a Sunday club
  14. Swedish format: 1 2 v 1 2 6 7 v 6 7 3 4 v 3 4 6 5 v 5 7 2 7 v 6 4 3 4 v 1 2 1 2 v 3 4 3 4 v 5 7 6 5 v 1 2 1 7 v 6 5 6 7 v 6 7 5 4 v 3 2 3 2 v 1 4 1 5 v 3 5 N N v N N
  15. So as it seems that a Wild Card pick (Tomasz Gollob) has not accepted his "pick". So surely its up to the organisers to ask another rider to be a Wild Card, and not be given to the "next in line"
  16. Ok so British passport would get Brady on a 3.00, but as stated before Todd was refused a reduction in 2011/2 so why would he receive one now?
  17. But how can they be? He has ridden in 2 matches in Denmark's "Elite" league and 13 in their 2nd tier. Its bad enough that he would be classed as a Cat 4 on a 5.00 ave but now it seems he "qualifies" as a Cat 2 rider and thats a full 4 points off his ave!
  18. So how can Brady Kurtz start on a 3? (He competed in the New South Wales U21 Championships in Kurri Kurri in Occtober) and also in a professional league this year Danish div 1. 17.2.2 The Assessed MA's for new Riders to the EL /PL racing is: Cat 2: Riders with an “end of the previous season’s published average” in the Polish Ekstraliga or Swedish Elitserien of 6.00 and below plus ALL other Riders riding currently in any Professional Speedway League, PL 7.00 Cat 4: Commonwealth and USA (to a maximum of 4 each season) Riders new to British Speedway PL 5.00 Cat 5: Riders who have ridden in the National Development League as an Amateur PL 3.00 And also how does his brother Todd get a reduction as he rode in the Australian National Championships in Jan this year... but did compete in the NL in 2011
  19. Put Morten at 5 again, then with the reserves beating him in 3 races, and a tough time in 13 he will soon be down to reserve and a trump card! Worrall Manzares Tungate Heeps Risager Ellis Hawkins I'd like it if the highest ave rider didn't have to ride at 1, being put at 5 is better as they ride the 3 races with the reserves.
  20. close....... but not perfect, however many may prefer your side!
  21. Depends on the 3 pointer, (3.13 left) but only be against the other reserves so will get easier races, Ashley Birks would fit though.
  22. Worrall 8.64 Tungate 7.05 Risager 6.90 Heeps 6.74 Manzares 5 Hawkins 3.96 38.29 leaves 4.21 but if worrall has his reduction which he should his ave would reduce to 8.42 leaving 4.43 Ellis 4.25 gets reduction too so now 4.14 Edit yeah bruv I agree :-)
