  1. cheers for that, i'll be leaving soon, not so bad on this side of town. Actually better than last week as not so heavy rain, as long as we have no delays how many heats do we need to beat the Monarchs?
  2. drizzle now, not had much rain since lunchtime so should be ok?
  3. Weather is the best it's been in days. Paths are dry and its brightening up. Rohan Tungate on his way back from France where he came 2nd to Jason Doyle. His points will be the difference tonight.
  4. I drove past the stadium today and the front gates were open, so maybe someone was there sorting the track out? Weather has got better today but will be the damage already done over the past 2 days. Ipswich has has 31mm of rain over the last couple of days!
  5. That was the 1st of the World Championship semi finals after they did away with the old Intercontinental and Continental finals. Think Hans Nielsen also had one that day and maybe a couple of others. Also remember Gerd Riss riding one at Ipswich the same time as Martin Hagon was also "messing about " with one. Normally packed up whilst leading after a couple of laps!
  6. Been chucking it down since late last night and hasn't really stopped. Need a drier day on Wednesday or will be doubtful. As said before there are quite a few interesting match ups. Worrall v Cook - Belle Vue Manzares v Fox - USA Tungate v Masters - Australia Hawkins v Sneddon - over 30s Ellis v Worrall - ftr Heeps v Fricke - Australia u21 Risager v Sedgeman ???
  7. Yeah safe journey home mate! Think its safe to say you will beat the riders home! Witches number 1 is a poisoned chalice. Doolan, Lanham, Hampel, Nicholls, Barker and now Worrall!
  8. Always rely on the Witches messing it up! If we gonna not make changes to riders. Maybe we need to change the riding order? What was it like Baldyman? Sure you will give us an honest report!?
  9. Watching through Sopcast today but again it will not let me just put in "Channel-96708" works fine through http://soccer-live.pl/transmisje.php?id=motorsport link though! Oh well at least it works one way!
  10. King seems to only scores well this season when Hawkins is his mechanic. Think Ritchie might have borrowed a few parts for his own bikes today!
  11. If still in Workington's declared line up he be OK. Maybe he's the 3 pointer you after? Then again most team managers don't know the rules.......
  12. Shame for him. Seemed to get on well with his team mates. Is he still allowed to guest for Newcastle tomorrow?
  13. that works fine, 96704 have football on at the moment and if i enter the address it doesn;t work, but if i click on it in the address bar from history it does! Oh well i'll try again tomorrow
  14. thats what i do but still no luck "the sop address is not valid" Even if i put in an address that "works" eg 96704 it says the same!
  15. Silly question but how do i input a sopcast channel number? says invalid address
  16. Think its Mills for Schramm and RR for Rose. Witches possibly start as slight favourites.
  17. Excuses excuses! Next you be saying you are there for a wedding!
  18. But you wouldn't be abandoning the whole family, the boys would come with you, so it's just the missus that would be left "hotel alone" lolThink that riders suffer from not being busy riding their speedway bike. As a few of the boys live locally they will naturally "hang around" together and have a laugh. It's then maybe hard to get in the groove and do their jobs? We all have bad days at the office, hopefully his are over!
  19. Harsh but fair! And new green sheets will be out soon so we will find out.... And its going to be very close again, only 0.06 difference last time and both riders will have been increased
  20. It was a bit tongue in cheek but the weather was coming, where i live it was bucketing down about 20 mins before Foxhall and heading that way. The rain we got all through the night was much worse, plenty of thunder and lightning on the way home too.By the looks of it you are now having the weather we had last night! But like i said Lawson could have helped out Skidmore to get the 8-1, then Redcar would have taken a point.
  21. Tbh it was the right decision. But have to say thanks to Redcar, especially Richard Lawson and their TM for all 3 points. Graversen should have been in heat 8 and Lawson not helping Skidmore at all in heat 11 allowed Ellis to pass. That extra point meant all 3 points for the Witches. Not a bad meeting either, Witches throwing away silly points and Tungate looked much better, Strange decesion by ref to exclude Manzares in heat 6 instead of Worall, Worall still can't find a quick way round Foxhall, Manzares took a tumble in heat 8 but luckily he looked ok, went on to win heat 11 in style. Risager is best Witches rider at present. Heeps after silly fall in heat 5 took a nasty fall in heat 9, lots of speed off 4th bend and caught both Redcar riders going into 1st bend, tried to avoid them but straightened up and very lucky not to highside. Ellis crashed out of heat 2 when in an easy 3rd after Crang had fallen. Actually the Witches didn't record a last all night. (Well technically they had did but were 5 fallers/exclusions) For Redcar, Lawson looks to have shown a liking to Foxhall, Graversen was gating well and Summers seemed fast until bike trouble saw him on Lawson's machine. the rest had their moments but genrally were poor, making the Witches look good
